I got so many missed calls from you then I didn't bother counting anymore.

I couldn't bear the sight of you at school,

I avoided you.

Ignored you when you tried to talk to me.

I put on a fake smile for the sake of my friends and for you,

But inside I was broken and shattered.

It was the last class of the day,

I was packing up my things and didn't even notice that I was all alone.

Then I heard the classroom door open,

I didn't pay much attention to it at first.

I thought it was just a fellow classmate who forgot his or her book.

I was done then looked up from my desk,

Only to see you inches away from me.

I flinched at the sudden revelation as you chuckled at me.

"W-What do you want?" I stuttered but still giving the cold shoulder.

"I just want to talk-" you began but I cut you off.

"There is nothing to talk about. Leave me alone." I said coldly and walked past you.

I went to the bus stop to wait for the next bus.

"Hey! How are you?" said a friend I knew there.

"Never been better." I lied through a smile.

"Did you know about the singing competition this Saturday?" she asked me.

"No I didn't, but now that you mentioned it I think I'll participate." I say to her.

"Awesome!" she said to me.

"Oh the bus is here, see you later." I say as I got on the bus.

"Bye!" she waved at me.

I know you'll get word that I'm at the competition.

I know you'll participate too because of that just to talk to me.

But its gonna be the other way around.
