My So Called Friend

Chapter 9

We started getting close,

I finally was able to talk to you properly.

Not to be ignored or to be hated by you anymore.

We chatted a lot,

We shared a lot of laughs,

We shared hobbies and dreams together.

You were always smiling when I was around.

It made me feel that I was important to you.

The feelings I had for you ignited again.

The thousands of butterflies that fell into a deep slumber arose again.

Every single touch from you, was like fire igniting my skin,

But it felt good.

One day, I knew it was finally time to tell you.

I put a note in your locker, asking you to come to the park.

I hid behind a tree, seeing you sit on a bench patiently waiting for me.

I was about to step out until....

"Hey babe! What are you doing here?" cried a sweet voice.

Your eyes widened at the voice and then out came a beautiful and pretty girl.

She had a slim figure, a perfect doll like face and long silky blonde hair.

Unlike me,

I'm chubby, ugly, oily black hair...

I could go on and on but that would be too long.

She sat beside you and smiled at you through perfectly white teeth.

You stood up and was about to leave.

When she pulled you down,

And then you kissed her.

My eyes widened as something inside me broke into a million pieces.

I broke down on the ground. Making you hear my sobs.

"Wait! It's not what you think!" you shout at me.

But honestly...

I don't know what to believe anymore.

"Then what is it?" I say through my tears.

"He's mine, now go away." said the girl as she stuck her tongue out to me.

She clung to you like a paper with glue.

I was once like that,

But you tore me away from you.

Leaving me broken.

Unable to repair.

I will never let myself be charmed by you anymore.

I should've never let this happen,

I was so stupid.

She looks perfect for you,

Hope you'll be happy without me...
