My So Called Friend

Chapter 16

We arrived at my house safely, so I guess he wasn't a pervert after all.

"This is my house." I say as we came to a stop.

"Oh cool, I'll just park here." he said as he drove to the side of the road and parked the car.

"OK uh... Thanks for the help, bye." I simply say and walked up to my house which I lived alone in.

I turned around only to find him...

Walking to the house across from mine?

"UH hey! That's my neighbours house what are you doing?" I say and he stopped in his tracks.

"Well then where else should I go? Neighbour..." he smiled at me and walked right into the house and unlocked the door and waltzed right in.

"I- wait what!?" I cried looking at him closing the door. "Goodnight neighbour!" he cried and locked the door of his house.

I was shocked, how did I not realized that HE was my NEIGHBOUR.

Well it's a small world after all.

I went into my house and changed into something more comfortable.

I plopped onto my bed and suddenly the memories of you and that girl came flooding back to me.

It gave me a headache and I cried so hard that I thought my eyes were melting out.

I couldn't sleep that night and you can guess that I looked HORRIBLE in the morning.

My black hair all over the place, wrinkles and bags under my eyes, my skin was dangerously pale as I hadn't ate anything since last night and I was so weak I could not even go to my kitchen.

I just slumped down onto my bed and just closed my eyes and hoped for it all to go away.

But suddenly there was a knock on my door.

I knew it wasn't you because either you were at your club or you were with the new senior...

I tried my best to get up and go downstairs to open up the door.

Only to find Ace standing there with a bag of take out Chinese food.

"I bet your hungry after a long night of crying your eyes out, so I thought maybe I should bring you some food." he said with a warm smile as he held up the food to my face.

"Eat up." he ordered me as we sat at my dining table. Ironically enough Ace was sitting at the same place you always sat at.

"Thanks... I guess..." I replied weakly as I picked up my fork and started to eat my food slowly.

"Now tell me, who did this to you?" he asked me as I finished the food in my mouth with a gulp.

"My boyfriend cheated on me with the new senior at my school." I replied bluntly and took another bite of my food.

"Tell me... Do you go to XXX school? And is that girl a year older then you and she looks beautiful and rich?" Ace said which made me snap my head towards him.

"Yes... How did you-" I began but he cut me off. "I go to the same school and that girl is my girlfriend." he said with a frown as he looked down with disappointment in his eyes.

"Oh..." I trailed off and took another bite of my food.

I felt bad for him, his girlfriend cheated with my boyfriend... Wait...

"Would you like to get revenge?" I asked Ace and he turned to me with a surprised look.

"How?" he asked making me grin with delight.

"Two can play at this game... Wanna be my new boyfriend?"
