I fucking hate elevators. They make me feel claustrophobic, like I can't escape. Right about now all I'm trying to do is escape. Escape the next few weeks where my thoughts will be consumed by darkness. There's no avoiding the bad shit in your life though. No matter what you do you'll always be inside the elevator of your mind taking one shitty step, one shitty floor at a time.Positive thoughts, Seth.
Yeah, fucking right. Positive thoughts are the last thing on my mind right now. After hearing my father be balls deep inside my Aunt's pussy I can't really concentrate on positivity right at this moment. Watching Aunt Jenn caress him and stare at him in an almost feral manner made me want to fucking gag. That look in her eyes reminded me of Sarah.
I rub a hand over my face thinking about her tall and thin curvaceous body. She's a sure way to make some of the bad shit in my head go away. She'll mask it for a little while. Help me fuck it all away into the nice little don't-fucking-go-there compartment in the back of my head. Because Sarah likes it rough, hard. Extremely hard. You know, the type of vicious fucking it takes to scald away all of your problems into a burning oblivion.
That burn may end up being a possible case of gonorrhea though.
Everything's a gamble in life. Everything. And that includes sex with my ex. If I'm being completely honest with myself that also includes any kind of interaction with her, sexual or not. She's a manipulative platinum-haired seductress with only malicious intentions in mind.
She's not so bad when my hands are twisted in fistfuls of her blonde locks while I'm plowing her forcefully from behind...
The elevator dings and the doors open pulling me out of my Sarah induced 'fucking' fantasy.
"Hey, Seth!" A small, soft voice says from around my knee's height.
I look down to see a head of unruly curly brown hair which makes me smile automatically. The last thing I feel like doing is smiling right now but this little one is a beam of happiness if there ever was one. "Well hello, little Maya." I draw my attention upwards to her mother's dark chocolate orbs. "Maria." I give her a nod and a smile which she returns as the two of them board the elevator.
Maya clings to her mother, her absolutely smoking-hot mother. She's young, almost too young to have a four-year-old little girl. Maybe she just looks young? Regardless, she's a Grade A MILF.
I tear my gaze away from Maria considering the fact I probably shouldn't be thinking about how hot she is while her four-year-old is in the elevator with us. Thankfully, it's only one more floor I have to wait for before the elevator dings and the doors open. I step out after a quick goodbye to the pair grateful it wasn't just Maria and I in the elevator.
Off limits, Seth. I internally scold myself for some of the dirty thoughts streaming through my head right about now. She's married and has a kid. Well, like father, like son I suppose. I let a long frustrated sigh out feeling an undeniable irritation with myself and the current events of the day. What a fucking shit show. And said shit show was only about to get worse.
I take a few strides down the long hallway with duffle bag in hand before knocking on Rhys's door. I've got a key but the fire-breathing red-headed dragon is lurking somewhere in there and I'm sure she's going to be just thrilled to see me. I tug on the front of my hair in frustration knowing I'm going from one awkward and frustrating situation to another.
Maybe a night with Sarah wouldn't be so bad after all.
I hear someone walking to the door on the other side before an irritated voice shouts, "you know Rhys, I don't understand why you can't just use your fucking key. I'm not the butler. You're the one who owns the fucking apar-" the door swings open and I'm met with a wide pair of hazel eyes. Those same eyes rake over me cautiously but with partial recognition. "Seth?" She asks while furrowing her brow.
"Rae?" I say it like a question even though I know it's her. Her fiery hair that's in a massive messy bun atop her head gives it away. But that's about all that gives way to the fact that it's her. Everything else about her has changed in the past five or so years. Well, maybe not her eyes either or her height.
"Jesus, you grew." She looks up at me from about a foot below me. "How tall are you now?"
"6'3." I mean, I'm not that tall.
"Oh, so you're the jolly green giant now." Apparently to her it is tall.
"Not my fault you're short, Rae. What're you, 4'9? I guess I should just call you the little oompa loompa."
She automatically grimaces at me and those hazel eyes flash ferociously. Ahh, now that's a look I remember. "I'm 5'4, dick." The little dragon that is Rae juts a hip out at me displaying her overabundant attitude. Knowing that I've already managed to get her worked up makes me smirk.
"You going to let me in or what, shorty?" I tease her which results in her slamming the door in my face. That was not what I was expecting. "Oh, come on, no quick retort or sassy comeback? A slammed door is all you've got? I expected more from you, Rae."
"Fuck off, giant."
"Whatever you say little oompa."
"Did she kick you out of the place already?" I hear a voice chuckling from behind me.
"You can't kick someone out of a place you never let them in." I hear her chirp from the other side of the door.
"Rae, come on."
"Tell the jolly green giant to stay somewhere else, Rhys."
"I'm assuming that's you" he aims at me and I nod with a mischievous smile. Rhys shakes his head at me and sighs. "He has a key, Rae. So, whether you want him to come in or not he's going to come in anyway."
She jerks the door open with a scowl that is the embodiment of the word bitchy and it makes me grin. She glares at me once before stomping off to the right side of the place. "Ever the charmer, isn't she?"
"You have no idea." Rhys sighs before we pause in front of the hallway that holds the guest bedroom I usually stay in. "You do realize the two of you are going to be staying next to each other, right? As in rooms right next to each other. Sharing a bathroom. Please, try not to kill each other."
"I make no promises."
"Seriously, Seth." Rhys looks at me with a stern I'm-a-good-big-brother face which only makes me laugh.
"Yeah, yeah, I'll be civil." Or at least I'll try to be. But I'm not going to voice that last part. I can make no guarantees when it comes to that little dragon. "I'm still staying in the last room down the hall, right?" He nods. "Seriously Rhys, thanks again. I don't mean to put you out or anything."
"Put me out?" He scoffs. "I just expect free drinks tomorrow. You're working, right?"
"Yeah, I've got you."
"No one likes a freeloader, giant!" I hear Rae shout from down the hall.
"You should know, oompa!" I shout back.
"This is going to be great." Rhys pinches the bridge of his nose before turning and walking towards the kitchen. "Juuuust great."
