You're stronger than diamond
As fragile as glass
Colder than all the stars up in the sky
You're blazing like fire
As tranquil as ice
Love so strong you've chained it up inside

You're a living contradiction
Delicate
Powerful
Wounded but stronger than anyone I know
You're an unrequited passion
Beautiful
Terrible
A legend but more human than you show
You're my beautiful disaster

You're softer than satin
Yet harder than steel
Restless like the wild things of the sea
You're calling for someone
Yet running alone
Unafraid of who you're meant to be

You're a flawless imperfection
Arrogant
Unashamed
A gentle whisper of silence in the rain
You're a lonely independent
White as snow
Black as night
A broken cry of fury and of pain
From my beautiful disaster

You're swifter than lightning
As silent as death
A rage that no one's ever seen you show
You're clearer than water
Yet locked up inside
There's no one that will ever truly know
My beautiful disaster
