they say

I can't seem to catch your eye
And I don't think you caught mine
But my friend says you've been staring

Another friend says there's a spark
That I should go for your heart
But if I do, I might just start caring

They're telling me to jump
But I'm afraid to fall
Never done this before
They say aren't we all

You've gotta be nicer to me
My problem is I can't see
If you're flirting or just being shy

We're dancing around the thought
Unsure of what we've got
Maybe all we have to do is try

They're telling me to jump

What if I don't make it
They say it's my call

They say love will win
But I can't see the way
They say it begins
When I take the leap of faith

They say to take my time
Go with what feels right
If I give you my hand will you take it?

I think I might try what they say
If you're sure it's okay
I think we might just make it

They say we should jump
Don't be afraid to fall
They say it's all worth it
When we look back at it all

They say love will win
When we can't see the way
They say it begins
When we take the leap of faith
