Rosita Andres:
I spent most of the school day staring off into space and doodling pictures of random things in my notebook.

"Ms. Andres, Ms. Andres! Pay attention to the board please!"

All of a sudden the bell rang, all the kids in the classroom stood up and ran for the door, before Mrs. Winapeg could lecture us on the importance of summer reading.

Once I was out of the classroom I was met by Stanley, who was waiting for me at my locker.  "Hello Stanley." I said promptly, a smile on my face.

"Oh, hi." Stanley gave a sigh and looked up from his bird encyclopedia, a look of almost surprise on his face as if he had not expected to see me outside my locker.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you," Stanley took his back pack off his back and placed it on the floor, he then unzipped the bag and placed the book inside. Once he was done he zipped the bag back and placed it on his shoulders.

He offered me his hand and I took it.  He led us to Richie, Bill, and Eddie.  All of which looked like they were having a very intense conversation about about something that I couldn't quite make out.

Once we joined behind our group of friends, Bill asked Stan what happens at Stanley's bar mitzvah. Before Stan could reply to Bills question, I told Stan, "I have to go to the bathroom, I will meet you guys outside."  Before I left I gave Stan a Kiss on the cheek.

I entered the bathroom knowing exactly what I was looking for, I smelled smoke so I knocked on the stall in front of me, "I'm in here Rose." An Annoyed voice answers.

The door opened and I saw the Beverly Marsh smoking a cigarette on the dirtiest toilet I have ever seen.  "Bev, I thought I told you to stop, it's not good for your health, ya know.  " I know, I know," But you smoking is not the reason I wanted to talk to you"

"It's-It's your father." I said taking a breath. "What are you going to do now that schools out."

Our conversation was cut short by the sound of a door slamming, loud feet walked into the bathroom and towards our stall, this could only mean one thing, Greta.

She started talking but I wasn't really listening, I was more focused on the sound of hard plastic hitting the  floor, and the sound of metal faucets turning followed by the sound of rushing water, then silence.

The silence only lasted about five seconds before Greta started speaking again in her annoying tone, "We just wanted to remind you."

All of a sudden green slimy goo fell on our heads, we not exactly, Beverly held her backpack above our heads so the goo wouldn't get on us, but her backpack was completely ruined.

Once Greta and her goons left, Beverly and I got out of the stall. I then quickly left, but not before promising Beverly I would buy her a new backpack.
