HAPPY TAE DAY 💜

"hoseok!" jungkook calls running up to his friend who's currently getting his books out his locker. "what's up kookie?"

"do you know what day it is?" jungkook asks basically jumping up and down. "um monday?"

"no dummy, taehyung is starting school here today!" he says slamming hoseoks locker in excitement causing the older to jump in surprise. "he's just speaking to the principle to get his schedule but i have good feeling we'll be in some classes together."

hoseok chuckles smiling, "that's great kookie i can't wait to met him." he sighs as the bell rings for class to start, "come on kookie we have math together."

the two walk into the class room taking they usual seats never the back as the rest of the class fills in, "now class," the teacher starts, "we have a new student with us today-" she stops and looks out the door with a small smile as the boy walks into the class, "am i late?"

"no," the teacher laughs, "this our new student everyone. his name is kim taehyung, is anybody willing to show him aro-"

"i'll do it!" jungkook says eagerly putting his hand up and taehyung smiles widely seeing the boy and resisting the urge to run up at him and hug him. "okay then," the teacher smiles, "you can take a seat next to jungkook then." she gestures over to the smiling boy and taehyung nods going to sit next to him.

"hi," jungkook whispers to him and taehyung smiles back, "hi, i think i'm going to enjoy not being homeschooled"

jungkook giggles holding the others hand under the table, "me too. oh this is hoseok by the way, i've told you about him remember?"

"hey" hoseok smiles widely at the other, "it's nice to finally meet you."

taehyung smiles back, "you to, i've heard a lot about you."

hoseok laughs, "jungkook never shuts up about you."

hoseok smiles as yoongi sits down next to him at the lunch table. he looks kind of uncomfortable but it was probably because of the look jungkook was giving him.

"so," hoseok tries to break the awkward silence, "jungkook where did taehyung go?"

"oh he went to speak to our math teacher since he's a bit behind," jungkook shrugs taking his gaze away from yoongi. yoongi sighs playing with his jacket sleeve not really sure what else to do, he wasn't much of a talker. he yawns softly and hoseok puts his arm around him making him rest his head on his shoulder.

"are you having nightmares again?" he asks softly but yoongi just glares at him silently telling him to shut up.

"tae!" jungkook smiles as he walks up to them. "hey," tae says sitting on jungkooks lap instead of the chair causing everyone to laugh, except yoongi. yoongi lifts his head off hoseoks shoulder and taehyung looks at him with smile that didn't really match his happy smile from ealier.

yoongi looks uneasy as he introduces himself, "hey i'm taehyung and you are?" yoongi stands up picking up his school bag, "i gotta go, i'll see you guys later." he mumbles and walks away.

"that was weird," hoseok frowns watching him walk away but jungkook just shrugs, "i still don't get what you see in him." he's about to say more but is interrupted by taes phone ringing.

taehyung sighs looking at the caller id, "i gotta take this i'll be back in a second" he gets up and kisses jungkooks cheek before walking into the hallway where yoongi happened to be.

he picks up the phone as yoongi watches him. taehyung smirks listening to the voice on the other side and purposely making direct eye contact with yoongi.

a few moments pass before taehyung speaks again, this time his voice is low and deep unlike ealier, this time he just sounds scary. "i'm keeping an eye on him don't worry." he puts his phone back into his pocket and walks up to yoongi.

"listen," he whispers in the same harsh deep voice shoving the other against one of the lockers, "don't even think about telling anyone because you know that they won't believe you." he let's go of yoongi letting him fall into the ground and walks back to the lunch table.

"i'm back," he smiles sitting on jungkooks lap again, "sorry that took so long."

"it's okay," jungkook says wrapping his arms around his waist making the other blush slightly. "you're cuddly," taehyung giggles.
