hoseok practically runs down the stairs when he hears the doorbell ring. he had told his mom that he was going out with a friend because he knows that she would freak if she knew hoseok was going on a date.

"hi," hoseok smiles looking at the other blushing slightly, "you look really good." he's surprised to see yoongi in different clothes than usal.

"thanks," yoongi blushes, "you look really good to but you always do."

hoseoks blush deepens at yoongis words. he's only wearing jeans with a black shirt and a thin flannel over it but he still believes yoongi. he closes the door behind them, "i'm excited," hoseok giggles holding yoongis hand in his.

"me too."

"people are looking at us weirdly," hoseok mumbles as he walks into the carnival with his arm over yoongis shoulders.

"people look at me weirdly all the time just ignore it." yoongi shrugs resting his head on his shoulder making hoseok smile. hoseok honestly loves how yoongi doesn't mind showing affection to him in public and how he manages to ignore everyone around them.

"let's go on the bumper karts!" hoseok suddenly says taking yoongi by surprise. "that's for children though," yoongi chuckles but hoseok is making puppy eyes at him and honestly no one can say no to that. "fine"

they wait in the line for about two minutes and get into the small cars. the amount of weird looks they get only increase but neither of them care at the moment. they to busy driving into each other both laughing.

"you suck at this," hoseok laughs teasingly as yoongi fails to move the fake car in the right direction, "come on at least try to remember from when you were younger." hoseok says bumping into his car.

yoongi rolls his eyes playfully turning his car to face hoseoks, "i never went to carnivals when i was younger."

hoseok bumps into his car again, "what did you do instead?" yoongi just shrugs in response, "i sat alone contemplating the meaning of life," he jokes managing to move his car into hoseoks.

they continue to bump into each other with the plastic cars for awhile until a staff member asks them to get off. "that was fun," yoongi laughs smiling as hoseok takes his hand again.

"i told you it would be," hoseok says dragging yoongi over to the candy floss stand, "since this is your first carnival i'm ganna give you the full carnival experience." hoseok smiles asking for two bags of candy floss before yoongi could protest.

hoseok pays for the candy floss before the two walk over to an empty bench and sit down next to each other. "it's not a carnival without candy floss," hoseok smiles handing yoongi a bag.

yoongi laughs as he takes it, "thanks." he takes a piece and gasps softly after he swallows it, "that tastes so good oh my god."

hoseok laughs, "don't tell me that you haven't had candy floss before." yoongi doesn't need to say anything since his faint blush gave away the answer. "how have you never had it before?"

yoongi shrugs, "i guess i just don't go out anywhere."

hoseok moves slightly closer to him taking a bite of his own candy floss, "you're out with me."

"i wouldn't wanna be out with anyone else."

hoseok blushes but smiles at his words, "i don't think anyone else would have gone on the bumper karts with me."

yoongi laughs, "it was fun." he tilts his head seeing hoseok looking at something and chuckles when he realises what he's looking at, "do you want one?"

"huh? oh no," he blushes, "you have to win this basket ball game to get it and i suck." yoongi stands up and takes hoseoks hand dragging him with him, "i'll win it for you."

they walk up to the game and yoongi frowns when he sees who's there. "hey," taehyung smiles, "i wasn't expecting to see you guys here."

"yeah," hoseok laughs, "i wasn't expecting to see you here either."

taehyung shrugs, "i'm trying to earn some extra money to take kookie out on a fancy date night." he waits until hoseok looks away and quickly winks at yoongi. "so you guys wanna play?" taehyung asks handing the ball to yoongi.

"i guess," yoongi shrugs taking the ball and looking back to hoseok who's looking exictedly at the purple and blue horse teddy. "if you get five hoops in a row you can win that," taehyung says also noticing hoseok looking at the horse.

"okay," yoongi spins the ball in his hands before aiming to the hoop and throwing it in earning cheers from hoseok. he smiles as he throws it in a second time. he does it three more times and hoseok claps as taehyung hands the horse to yoongi. "well done," taehyung smiles, "you should join the schools basket ball team."

yoongi sighs knowing that he has to act friendly so he forces a smile, "thanks."

they walk away from the stand and yoongi hands the teddy to hoseok, "thank you!" he says happily wrapping yoongi into a huge hug. yoongi smiles hugging him back there's faint click sound coming from behind them but neither of them notice it. "you're welcome."

"hey," hoseok lets go of the hug and puts his arm around yoongis shoulder again, "i heard there's a fireworks show starting soon if we go on the feriswheel maybe we can see it."

yoongi put his arm around hoseoks waist and nods, "sure"

they get onto the wheel and hoseok puts the horse in his lap, "i'm ganna call it mang."

"cute," yoongi says as the wheel starts moving.

"hey yoongi?" hoseok says quietly fiddling with the teddy in his lap, "can i ask you something?"

yoongi faces him lifting hoseoks chin so he's looking at him again instead of the ground, "you can ask me anything."

hoseok bites his lip nervously speaking quietly like he's scared of the answer, "what are we?"

there's a moment of silence before yoongi answers speaking quietly as well, "what do you want us to be?" he cups his face in his hands waiting for an answer as the wheel stops at the top. "i wanna be yours."

"then you're mine." yoongi whispers leaning closer towards hoseok. hoseok smiles closing the gap between them. he feels yoongis lips against his as the fireworks go off. hoseok doesn't want to look at the fire works though he wants to stay like how he is right now.

"i'm happy i'm yours," hoseok smiles when yoongi finally pulls away slightly out of breath. "you will always be mine then," yoongi smiles widely leaning his head on hoseoks shoulder watching the fire works.

hoseok shivers as they walk back to his house, he's regretting wearing something so thin.

"are you cold?" yoongi asks taking off the jacket he was wearing. hoseok looks at him and nods slightly, "a bit.".

"thanks," he smiles as yoongi puts his jacket over his shoulders. "you know what will make you warmer?" yoongi questions with a playful smile, "this," he wraps his arms around him hugging him makimg hoseok laugh as they walk up to his door.

"you should let go before my mom sees us," hoseok sighs looking at yoongi.

yoongi lets go of him and smiles slightly, "i had a lot of fun tonight. thank you." he really enjoyed having a break from fighting and hiding from people.

"me too," hoseok smiles as yoongi kisses his cheek. "i'll see you at school yoongles," hoseok smiles turning to go inside.

"yeah don't call me yoongles." yoongi laughs.

"sure thing yoongles" hoseok smiles blowing him a kiss and walking inside.
