the building is small and unfamiliar to yoongi but he recognises the man standing by the door frame straight away. "where is he?" yoongi questions harshly.

the man chuckles, "not even a greeting anymore? i missed you my son."

"don't call me your son, i don't want to be associated with you." he pushes past the man and goes inside but frowns when he realises hoseok isn't there, "where is he?"

"he isn't here," the man smiles, "but you are." yoongi steps away from him looking at him with fear in his eyes. "i decided that hurting you won't scare you since you seem to have hurt yourself enough" the man continues, "so i'll hurt the person you love instead."

"is this still about mom?" yoongi asks frowning, "because i never hurt her! you did! stop trying to take out your anger on other people!"

his father ignores his sons remarks, "you have twelve hours left to find him if you don't come i'll kill him." he shrugs, "it's simple really."

"and if i do come?"

he hesistates, "then i'll let him go but you're stuck with me. so it's your choice really. either you die or he does."

yoongi watches as his father walks away after those words and drives away before he could even try to follow him. "fuck!" he curses to himself punching the wall not caring about the mark it leaves on his hand.

a door creaks next to him and he rolls his eyes in annoyance as taehyung steps next to him. "listen you have every right to hate me," taehyung starts and yoongi is surprised to hear that he isn't speaking in his deeper voice, "but i want to help you."

yoongi scuffs, "whos side are you on?" when he doesn't get an answer he speaks again,"if you wanna help then tell me where hoseok is."

"i don't know the exact address," taehyung pouts, "but he did say that it's the place you would try to avoid no matter what."

"he's at home," yoongi mumbles to himself.

"yoongi?"

"what?"

taehyung sighs, "i wouldn't go alone if i were you. if you go and fight him it's not going to be you verse him, it's going to be you verse who knows how many people." there's no reply as he watches yoongi leave.

as much as yoongi hates to admit it, taehyung was right. he needs to find someone who can come with him. namjoon won't risk his life for someone he hardly knows and jins never been into violence, unless it's watching namjoon fight. he sighs realising that he only really has one option.

"can i help you?" a woman asks with a smile after yoongi knocks on the door.

"um yeah, is jungkook here?"

she nods and quickly goes to call him. about a minute later jungkook comes to the door in pyjama pants and a hoodie, "why are you here?"

"great to see you too," yoongi replies with a sarcastic smile making jungkook roll his eyes,"hoseoks in trouble."

jungkooks eyes widen at his words, "what did you do?"

"i didn't do anything," yoongi mutters, "i'm trying to help him." jungkook frowns obviously not believing him, "explain?"

yoongi sighs sitting down on the steps outside of his house and starts to explain the whole story. "damn," jungkook says quietly once yoongi finishes, "that's messed up."

"yeah i know," yoongi stands up, "so you ganna help me or not?"

jungkook stands up immediately, "obviously, how far is this place? we can take my moms car."

"about two hours away," he looks at him, "don't you wanna change?"

"really?" jungkook raises an eyebrow, "we don't have time for that." he walks over to the car in the drive away and gets in the driver seat.

"can you drive?" yoongi asks getting into the passenger seat.

"yeah i don't officially have my licenses yet but i have my learners at least." he chuckles turning the car on, "i kept telling her to take the keys out the car, she never listens." he pulls the car out the drive way and quickly turns to yoongi, "by the way, this doesn't mean that we're friends now."
