18.

yoongi wakes up with a smile for the first time in awhile. this is the only thing he's been looking forward to all week but he has never actually been on a proper date and finds his nerves starting to kick in.

he looks at himself in the dirty mirror and tilts his head slightly. he's only meeting hoseok in the evening and he needs at least some advice so he goes to the only person he knows in a successful relationship

"suga," rm smiles, "back already?"

"guess so," yoongi chuckles, "i was actually hoping you could give me some advice."

rm shrugs, "what advice do you need? wanna work on fighting techniques?"

yoongi shakes his head, "nothing like that um, i'm actually going on a date and well i've never really been on one."

"you came to me for relationship advice?" rm laughs, "i'm the worst at the stuff but jin could help you. you've met him before right?"

yoongi nods and rm smiles, "i was ganna go visit him today you can come with me. lemme just text him first."

rm rings the bell of the small cottage like house holding a bunch of flowers behind his back that he bought on the way there. he smiles as the door opens and a slightly older male basically throws himself at him pulling the other into a tight hug.

"i missed you joonie" jin smiles letting go of him. "i missed you to," rm chuckles handing him the flowers. "you remember suga right?"

yoongi waves awkwardly as jin looks him up and down. "i remember him," the older nods and as he gestures for them to come inside.

the inside of the house is neatly decorated with white future and pink pillows and table cloths. jin walks into the lounge and sits on rms lap, "so you're going on date?" he asks yoongi.

yoongi nods, "yeah um, i've never really been on one before."

jin shakes his head, "i can tell i mean where you really planning on wearing that?"

"what's wrong with what i'm wearing?" yoongi asks looking down at his stained jeans and dirty black jacket.

"oh sweetie this is ganna take awhile," jin sighs standing up, "follow me."

yoongi hesitates following jin up the stairs. "okay you wanna charm this girl right?" jin asks opening his huge closet looking through all the clothing.

"um it's a guy actually..." yoongi blushes but jin just smiles, "that's great!" he walks closer to yoongi and frowns slightly, "firstly, you need a bath. here you go bath and i'll find you a more appealing outfit." he says gentally pushing yoongi towards the bathroom. "oh...okay thanks," yoongi says surprised at all the effort jin seems to be going through for him.

jins voice comes ten minutes later though the door, "okay i found the perfect date outfit for you."

yoongi comes out holding a towl around himself as jin sniffs the air, "that's so much better! here try this on" he hands him

"okay, thanks." he goes back into the bathroom and changes into the clothes. he walks out the bathroom feeling very unsure as he looks into the full length mirror at the outfit. it's simple black ripped knees but jin had paired it with an oversized baby pink sweater and a leather jacket over it. "it's so pink." yoongi says quietly.

"it's perfect! joonie! come tell us what you think," jin calls and smiles as namjoon walks into the room.

namjoon sits on the edge of the bed and chuckles seeing him in pink for a change, "i think it looks great."

"but there's so much pink," yoongi says turning to face him.

"aw pink brings out your cute side" namjoon smiles earning a glare from jin.

"i don't have a cute side," yoongi mumbles.

"aw come on," jin says putting something in his hair, "everyone has a cute side and you're boyfriend will love this look. plus wearing this is like a huge f you to all the people who only see you with that whole bad guy persona"

yoongi sighs looking at the flower crown jin out in his hair, "i guess it is kind of cute." he mumbles making jin clap happily.

"perfect! you better tell me how this date goes, i wanna hear all about it," jin smiles sitting next to namjoon on the edge of the bed.

"i'll tell you everything," yoongi chuckles, "thank you so much." he adds a small bow afterwards.

"wait," jin suddenly says, "you're missing something." he goes and searches in a draw before taking out a pair of fake glasses with a black rim and puts it on yoongi, "now it's perfect."

yoongi blushes and thanks him again, he honestly thinks jin is a bit over the top but he's interesting at least.
