5. Meet the blue spirit

Author note: this chapter will have some katara POV so I hope you like it! It's much longer than I intended but I'll go with it!

Zuko POV

I walked through town trying not to stand out as I followed the Avatar's gang. The water tribe boy kept bringing up how fake Aunt Wu was and I couldn't blame him for thinking that, after all so did I. I found out his name is Sokka, and he isn't that bright, but he manages to pull it off.

They noticed a crowd forming at the center of town and went to check it out, apparently, there is a volcano nearby and they are waiting for a cloud prediction on whether or not it will erupt this year. When Aunt Wu arrived she began the reading, soon she announced that the volcano would not destroy the village this year. I was about to walk away and I heard avatar Aang start talking to katara, "Since I got you here there's something I wanted to tell you, I like you but more than normal...nevermind.." He was quickly ignored by Katara, as she ran to Aunt Wu, does he love katara!?!? No! I can't lose to him! He always gets everything I won't let him get her!

I followed her to Aunt Wu's house I ran around back and hid in the room.

"Hi Aunt Wu! Sorry to bother you." She was talking a bit too fast, "Anytime." I think her voice is so cute "About this man I'm supposed to marry, is he going to be handsome? Oh, i hope he's tall!" She sounded so happy, I'm sure she's going to be disappointed when she sees that it's me. "Ah, you want another reading." She sighed "Yes please!" Then she told Katara to wait in the entry hall for a minute.

Aunt Wu came in alone, "Prince are you in here?" I came out of hiding, "Yea I'm here." She sighed, "Good I need to speak with you before I bring her in here! what do you want me to tell her? Do you want her to know that you're a fire bender? Do you want her to know about your future together? I'm not sure what information you want me to tell her. How much do you want her to know?" I hesitated, "Go ahead and tell her future but don't tell her my element yet. I don't want it to be too obvious that it's me." I might regret this later.

After a few minutes, katara walked in and sat down, Aunt Wu gave her tea and they settled down for a long reading.

"Ok, I'm ready! Tell me all about him! Is he handsome? Is he tall?" She was eager, "Well miss katara, beauty is in the eye of the beholder so I can't tell you what you think of him but I think he is a strapping young man. As far as his height he is a bit on the tall side but he isn't the tallest tree in the forest by any means. However he is taller than you, he has black hair, fair skin, and golden eyes."

I looked at Katara, she seemed to be drawing a picture in her mind. "So he isn't water tribe because we don't have those traits, he must be either earth or fire, right? Thank goodness he doesn't have blue eyes, now I know it can't be Aang. I think he likes me but he is like a brother to me."

"You are correct, it isn't Aang, and I'm still not sure what element he bends." She answered back, I could see the wheels turning in katara's mind. I held my breath, " I can however tell you that he is a good person."

Katara Pov

"A good person.." I thought long and hard about it. "So I haven't met him yet right?" She shook her head. "Maybe you have, maybe you haven't, I can't say for sure." I looked at my feet, I guess she is right, she has no way of knowing who I have met before.

"So is there anything I can do to meet him faster? Such as do you know where he is?" She shook her head again, "I haven't the faintest idea. However don't rush things, just let them happen as they happen. Sooner or later he will find you, just be yourself, and you will be fine." I groaned, I really wanted to meet him now.
