I think my daughter hates me. She hates me and she's not even here yet. I mean why would someone that loves me do this to my feet. Laying in bed I look at my fat swollen feet. I swear they hurt so fucking much. They better go back to normal. Or I'm just gonna cut them off. I think I would look cute with no toes.
A knock at the door brought me back to reality.
"It's open."
"Why you laying in bed like that?" James asked jumping on my bed.
"Because my feet hurt."
He grabbed my foot in his hand and started rubbing it.
"Umm." I moaned. It felt sooo good.
"No deberías hacer sonidos así."(You should not make sounds like that). He groaned. I swear that was sexy. James was always sexy. I haven't had sex in months and for some reason James has me feeling some type of way.
"Umm. That feels so good." I moaned louder.
"En serio Nova  necesitas parar." (Seriously Nova you need to stop.) James said moving his hands up my leg. I closed my eyes enjoying the feeling.
"Tienes unos pies sexy Nova " (You have some sexy feet Nova).

"What?" I groaned.
"Are we interrupting something?" Tally asked stand in my door with Ant.
"Uhh no he was just massaging my feet. They hurt."
"I would've done that for you." Tally says.
"No you wouldn't you don't like feet."
"True. But that is not why we here. I would like to know what my god child is going to be."
"Well the name is Kory Diana Rose Sanchez. So it's a girl."
"Yay!!!! I knew it. Pay up Baby!" She yelled in Antonio's face.
"Oh." I said rubbing my stomach.
"What's wrong?" James asked touching my belly.
"I think she's kicking." I put his hand in the spot.
"She is kicking!" He smiled.
"Aww look at the happy family. I like what I'm seeing." Tally said smiling mad hard.
"Tally stop."
"It's getting late what do you want to eat?"
"Are you cooking?"
"If that is what you want Nova ."
I clapped my hands. "I've been craving ropa vieja. It's so good when you make it." "Are you gonna come with me to the supermarket?" He asked looking at me like I'm crazy. I know he hates the supermarket.
"Nope. Take Antonio with you."
"Aight tienes suerte de ser lindo." (you lucky you are cute).
"I told you bout speaking Spanish to me." I yelled throwing the pillow only for him the dodge it.
"Chill we'll be back." They left leaving me and Tally.
"So is Ro gonna know bout this baby or... Are you and James gonna play house."
"We not playing anything and Romeo can't know anything."
"I know you're mad at him but this is his baby."
Despite what everyone thinks I'm not mad. I'm just sorry for him.
"I'm not mad at Romeo. But I know him. He can't handle a baby. He could barely handle himself. I know all about the drinking and the drugs. Kory deserves more than that. She deserves more than what I had. And eventually I will find him and tell him."
"Will you take him back?"
"I don't think so."
James POV
I swear I hate grocery shopping. It's not crowded in here but everything is all over the place. Ant is a pretty cool dude. He seemed like he was a really dick at times but I understand why Nova wants him around.
Going to the rice aisle I swear I was lost looking at the selves. Why are there so many kinds of white rice.
"So what's going on between you and my sister." He asked.
"What do you mean?"
"You know I speak Spanish right? You know we was standing at that door for a minute right?"
I shook my head. "It's nothing. We just cool."
"Nah you feeling her. I know you been feeling her." We stopped walking.
"What are you talking about?"
"The way you used to look at her when she first came around. You know. Before she got locked up."
"You're wrong. I just start feeling this way after she and Romeo broke up." I lied. I knew when I started liking her. But it was no ones business.
"Either way you like her so what's taking you so long to tell her?"
"She Romeo's love and the mother of his child. They gonna get back together."
"I don't think so. My sister talks to me more than anyone."
"And what did she say?"
"She told me about how he would consistently abandon her when they fought. Dropping her off in the middle of the street. How in Miami he was always partying and working and how YOU were the only one there." He said emphasizing you. "She said the love she felt for Romeo started die down the more she started to see his truth colors."
"Romeo is not a bad guy." I defended.
"Obviously he's not a good guy either if you not friends with him anymore. Your different than him. Him and Nova are both fire so they burned each other. You are like rain. You put out her fire."
Who was this dude? He sounds like a old wise man. I honestly don't even know how to respond. Everything he said made sense but it didn't.
I don't feel like talking so I tried my best to rush back to the house. Getting back I go check on Nova . She's sleep with the heartbeat bear.
I was just bout to leave the room when..
"So your just gonna Starr and leave?" Nova asked with her eyes still closed.
"I thought you were sleep."I explain sitting on her bed.
"Nope Korys heartbeat just does something to me. Relaxes me. " She says sitting up laying her head on my shoulder. She gave me the bear and pressed the middle. The sound was so strong. It made me feel some type of way.
"See I told you." I looked into her eyes. So perfect. Grabbing her face in between my hands I stared at her face.
"Sé que eres suyo. Pero tengo que probar algo."(I know you are his. But I have to try something). Pulling her to me I kiss her. Her lips were soft and perfect. I didn't expect her to kiss me back but she did. It feels like the kiss lasted forever. I felt fireworks in my chest. I've never felt that before. She was straddling my lap holding onto me tightly.
"Nova." I said pulling away. She shook her head no and pulled me back into the kiss. I grabbed her ass making her grind on me. I started kissing at her neck making her moan.
"Umm. James don't stop." She moaned. I kissed her lips again. But something stopped me. This wasn't right no matter what Romeo is supposed to be my brother. But here I was kissing on his girl.
Pulling away I stop her. "Nova I should go cook dinner."
"Oh. Yeah. Umm I gonna go take a shower." She hopped off my lap.
What the hell is wrong with me?!
I go to the kitchen to cook dinner only to have Ant and Tally watching me. Why are they always around.
"You know if you are gonna have sex you should really close the door." Tally said
"We don't have sex. Nothing happened."
"You are such a liar. Dinner smells good though."
"Why are you guys always around don't you have school or something."
"Yes we go to school but seniors get out at 1230 here. And it's nighttime."
"He just wants us out the house to be alone with Nova." Ant says adding his two cents.
"I was actually thinking of getting my own place. Things are getting complicated."
"Your leaving?" I sighed closing my eyes. Turning around I see Nova in pink night gown.
"Nova  let me explain.."
Before I could even say anything she ran upstairs. Chasing after her I made it to the room before she closed the door.
"Nova please let me talk." I begged.
"Go ahead. Talk!" She screamed.
