Opening my eyes they land on the most beautiful face I have ever seen. Smiling mad hard I wonder how long I've been asleep. Glancing at the clock I saw it was 10 in the morning. Shit I was super late for. Turning back over to wake Romeo I couldn't he was just sleeping so peacefully. His breathing so relaxed and deep. I watched his chest rise and all with every breathe thinking bout how my body was wrapped up in his not to long ago. Sighing I rub my hands through his soft hair.
"Good morning." He said slowly opening his eyes.
I smiled kissing his lips. "I think you need a hair cut baby."
He pouted. "You don't like the length?"
"Nope." I giggled looking in his eyes.
Romeo stroked me cheek closing his eyes again. "What you staring at beautiful?" he asked pulling me closer to him.
"Your eyes are closed. How you know I was staring at you?"
Eyes still closed he smiled. "I see everything."
Kissing my forehead he stood up and stretched. "Hungry?"
"We have to get to school. I'm super fucking late." I said making my way to the bathroom. Not even bothering to cover my naked body. It's his now so why hide it. He grabbed me pulling me into his naked body. He rested his hands on my ass kissing my forehead.
"I'm not going to school today. Got some business to handle."
"I don't like that." I mumbled holding my head down. Lifting my head up he looked me in my eyes.
"I know but it's part of my life."
I rolled my eyes pushing his chest. Him being in the drug game only reminded me how we are not suppose to be together. How everything he does could get him killed.
"Do you want me to drive you to school?"
"No I can drive myself." I said walking to the bathroom.
Romeo kissed me slapping my ass. "Lose the attitude Queen. Go in the tub."
Walking into the bathroom and over to the tub I started the water. Smiling to myself I stepped into the shower. All I could think about was Ro's hands all over my body. I was starting to feel some type of way, but then I remember I am mad at him. I just wonder how long will that last.
Stepping out of the tub I dried my body off, brushed my teeth, put lotion my body and walked back into the room. Romeo was dressed in a pain white tee, jeans and white air force ones. Even dressed simple he was sexy as hell.
"You ready or you just gonna stare."
"Do I look ready to you Romeo?" I questioned back with attitude.
"I know I told you to lose the attitude." he said looking at me confused.
"You not my daddy."
"Ma you wildin cause I was daddy last night." he said biting his bottom lip. He knows that drives me crazy. I walk into the closet and pull out a pair of his sweats and I white tee shirt.
"I know you got draws under that shit."
"Nope nothing underneath." I giggled walking out the house.
"You trying to get fuck up?" he asked closing the door for me.
I roll down my window and kiss him deeply. "I'm trying to get fucked." In whispered against his lips.
"Tonight. That's a fact."
After dropping him off and going to school my mood began to dampen.

There are these days I'm happy. But then there are these days that I don't wanna be alive. I don't understand it's like I'm drowning and the water just gets deeper and deeper in my lungs. I read in some book that's its depression. But my mama always said black people don't get depressed so I never checked it out anymore. For some reason I feel tears rolling down my cheeks. I walk into the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror. "What's wrong with me?" I questioned. I tried going back to class it felt like I couldn't breathe. I went back to the apartment. Romeo was sitting on the phone. He looked over at me and the smile on his face dropped.
"Hey baby you ok?" Romeo asked wiping my face.
"Yeah." I said putting on a weak smile.
"What are you doing home?"
"I ummm... forgot my English book. I just came to get it."
"Ok it's lunch now so we can grab something to eat then head back to school." I nodded my
We were eating in the lunch and I started crying again. Our table got quiet. Romeo stared into my face. "Come with me." He said pulling me up from my chair. He walked me to the library and we sat at a table. He looked into my face. "Baby what's wrong?" He asked genuinely concerned.
I shrugged my shoulders. As tears kept falling.
"Speak to me Queen." He begged.
"It just happens like this sometimes."
"You just start crying?"
"I just feel...empty sometimes. But I'll be fine in a couple of days."
"I need you better now baby. I don't like seeing you like this."
This made me cry more. "I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry. I-I-I..."
"Baby come here." He pulled me into his lap holding me as I cry. "You don't have to be sorry. You did nothing wrong." I got up and walked out the library.
"Nova! Nova stop!" Romeo yelled grabbing my arm.
"I just wanna go home." I sighed.
"Okay let me get my stuff and we..."
"Alone." I said cutting him off.
He give me a confused look before grabbing my face making me look in his eyes.
"We together. There is no alone. Now wait here and let me get my stuff." Ironically his locker was about 6 feet away from us.
After he grabbed his stuff he drove us to McDonald's. "What you want to eat?" He asked me.
"Nothing. You just brought me food. "
"That you didn't eat."
"I nibbled."He nodded his head and got up. 10 minuets later he came bake with two cheeseburgers and two larger fries and sodas.
"I said I didn't want anything."
"I love you. Eat." I glared at him eating my burger. We ate in silence but I could tell he had questions.
"Ask it already. I know you have questions."
"I think your depressed."
"Black people don't get depressed."
"Who told you that shit?"
"My mother."
"Well your mothers and idiot. My tio had depression. Shot himself in the head."
"I don't want to kill myself." I stated.
"Good cause the world would stop moving if I lost you." He grabbed my hand kissing my fingers. I smiled.
"That's the most beautiful thing I've seen all day."
"I'll try to smile more. But it might not last today."
"And why the fuck not." He chuckled.
"I have to see my mother today."
He's face grew angry. "Why?"
"I have to get my stuff.
