Once I cried where it hurt my chest
I cried because I lost something good
Lost a good guy
Lost the love I always wanted
But why?
At times i blamed my self,
Believing it was my fault you slipped away
Thought I did too much or too little
But no. It was not me or you
It was the time
And maybe a bit of you
You tried to slip away
I never asked why
I dont want to know
But I caught you before you left,
And released you hoping you will come back
I still miss you.
I no longer cry for you
I replay memories
And cherish the time we spent together
