Seven

Just then, a new one with a determined look on it's face came forward. Stella snorted, as if to scorn it. But as it got on, and Stella started bucking, she realized that this one was much harder than the rest to get rid of.

Stella bucked and bucked, but it was no use. This creature stuck like it was just a peice of her body. She did not under stand why it did not pop off like the rest. She stilled for a moment, heaving her sides.  The creature on her back started yapping and making her move.

Stella had decided what these creatures were- evil. She had not really noticed before, but the creatures seemed to have more horses that they were riding around on, that seemed to be cooperating.

She did not understand why the horses were actually cooperating, then she realized that must be what they did to horses that were broken. Stella shivered at the thought.

Then she realized that if she did not get this creature off of her back, she would qualify as broken, too.

Stella gathered up all of her strength, and bucked like she had never bucked before. The creature flew off, landing in the water trough. Stella reared in excitement, to have more ropes flying around her. She fought to free herself, but it was no use. They dragged her over to a large box on wheels, and forced her in. The opening closed behind her. She could not see any thing.
