Sixteen
Stella woke. She heard the sound of human footsteps. She looked down to comfort Koni, to realize that she was gone! Stella started to panic, and looked around. Where could she be?
Then Stella heard a squeal, and looked behind her to see Koni being dragged/carried away against her will by two men in black clothing,and masks. She reared, and ran at them, but soon realized that they were on the other side of the fence. She circled back around, and ran straight at it. At the last second, she jumped over, landing on the other side.
When she got over, she realized that they were gone. The men had entered one of the things that they ride in the belly of, along the road.
She ran at it as it started moving. It sped up.
Stella chased the car into the night, screaming her foal's name. "Koni! Koni! Koni..."
