Chapter 1 - i'm supposed to be your best friend!

As we hugged I could just imagine how my nails would drag across his back, sure to leave marks that would still be there in the morning. But then I remembered , we're just friends. 'just friends.' Those 2 words killed me.
Wait.. What am i saying?

Luke: "Y/n"

Me: "Yeah?"

Luke: "I'm sorry"

Me: "Luke."

Luke: "No y/n listen to me. I never meant to hurt you okay? I'm sorry I've been such a dick to you I'm supposed to be your best friend and I wasn't there for you."

Me: "Luke it's okay, I forgive you. You're my best friend and you haven't been a dick."

**next day**

"Let's play truth or darrree!" I could hear Calum shouting from the other room

When I walked back from the kitchen with some snacks Calum, Michael, Luke and Ashton were all sitting in a circle staring at me.

Me: "What?"

Luke: "nothing"

Michael: "are you playing then?"

Me: "I don't know"

They always find some way to humiliate me when I play this game with them so I always try and find a way to avoid it.

Calum: "pleeeaaasee y/n"

Ashton: "we'll love you forever and ever"

Me: "ugh fine"

Luke:"Alrighty then Calum you go first"

Calum: "yay because i'm the best haha okay. Y/n truth or dare?"

Me: "uhmmm dare?"
It came out more of a question than an answer.

Calum: "I dare you to take your shirt off"

Me: "seriously? Too easy"
as I was taking my shirt off I could feel someone's eyes burning into me, I turned my head to the person beside me and caught luke staring at my chest so I smacked his arm.

Luke: "owww"

He looked back up at my face and I couldn't help but blush. Why am i blushing? I don't love him, i cant.
