~Y/N's Pov~

I could hear my own breathing... so harsh and scratchy... I dropped to my knees and realized...

He was gone. His footprints, or so I thought, were headed in another direction, as well as many others.

Wait... did they leave me? Did they succeed and forget about me?

"AARON?! GARROTH?!" I yelled panicked, still heavily panting.

No response.

I was all alone in the woods, bleeding out once again from the amount of times I tripped over my own feet.

Or so I thought... because I heard a groggily voice... almost sounded like death himself.

I feared I was dying once again, as my face turned a pale white and I flopped over in the snow in a bow position.

"Mr. Death himself, please don't take me once again!" I begged in a childish way. Jeez, what in the actual hell was I doing...?

"...Y/N...?" A voice asked and I groaned.

I slowly fell over and laid face first in the snow. Then I couldn't move at all because my body was slowly shutting down once again. The blood continuing to drain from other spots of my body other then the stomach.

This was it...

"Y/N... are you... are you dead...?" it asked again and I felt a hand touch my back. This hand is... oddly warm...

I hesitated for one moment and shook my head no... Something seems familiar about that voice...

"Y/N... I'm sorry for all that I've done to make you and your friends suffer... I know that I hurt your feelings in many horrible ways. I'm sure this really, really upset you, especially since everyone else was there to witness my harsh words and actions towards you. I was wrong to treat you like that. If there's anything that I can do to make this up to you, please just ask. From now on, I'm going to manage my stress better, so that I don't snap at you and everyone else with my poor actions. And, I want you to call me out if I do this ever again." It said and I felt my head slowly be adjusted onto someone's lap. I was face first on them.

I took a deep breath and rolled over to look up at whoever it was...

Ein...

I couldn't feel any hatred I had felt a few moments previously for him... What was going on...? He seems to be so calming... 

~Ein's Pov~

If I had any last wishes before I died... It would've been to see her and let her know I was sorry...

Now I wish that I wouldn't die...

I could feel tears begin to stream down from my eyes... I didn't want to die.

I don't want to die now...

Wait...

I put my hands on her stomach and continued to stare at her, hoping not to freak her out.

"H-Hey hey! Be careful!" Y/N growled at me a bit and I shook my head.

"Trust me... I'm not going to touch there at all..." I chuckled a bit through my own throbbing pain. "I'm... not going be able to help myself..." I look down and sigh before continuing. "but I may be able to help you. You have the decision to help me or not..." 

She stared at me blankly as I healed her using my magic... which I was forbidden to do so by him...

"Ein..." Y/N said sitting up a bit and I looked at her as she slowly began to stand up.

I decided to also pick myself up and begin to wander in the direction of my cabin.

"Hey wait! Your not gonna make it you know!" Y/N yelled but I continued to walk.

I then realized why she was following me... They had left her behind... What a bunch of assholes they are... she's a living and breathing person! She is literally on the verge of death and I had to help her... Well... I helped her for another reason too but... she probably doesn't feel that way for me... She literally hates me and my existence... 

I stopped and turned around to face her, she breathed heavily as she had just ran towards me.

"Come... Why don't you rest at my place?" I said and felt the rush of heat to my face. Oh shit that sounded wrong. 

"W-What?! No! You literally tried-"

"I m-mean... I might not m-make it... I might need someone to watch over me to m-make sure I'm okay..." I said stuttering a bit. You dumb ass...

"I mean... I don't really have anywhere to go... I don't know my way back to the lodge and..." Y/N said and I nodded.

"Right... just come with me..." I said and she smiled a bit. She's... so awkward like that...

"Oh... you have a bit of snow in your ear." I said helping her out before she could even say a word.

"Oh... thanks..." Y/N said and her ear twitched, getting the remaining snow out of her ear...

You're so weird and... a bit adorable in a sense Y/N...
