~Ein's Pov~

The eggs in front of my eyes were steaming and about done. The fall weather was already taking its affect, as it was cloudly outside and cool. Today is finally a holiday! I've been so excited to spend a holiday with Y/N... I can only imagine how happy she will be! My face was heating up and I was smiling.

"Ein..." I heard Y/N call.

"Yeah? What's up?"

"What are you making?" I feel her next to me and I can't help myself but to smile more.

"Eggs and bacon... Why?"

"I can smell it." She laughs and sits down at the nearby counter.

"Oh?" I laugh a little. A knock at the door grabs my attention and I sigh heavily. "Watch the eggs please, would you Y/N?" I begin to pace towards the door.

"Sure." I hear her slide off the chair and walk to the stove.

I open the door and sigh, Jax and Ryder stare at me with their needy eyes.

"What do you need...?" I groan and shuffle my hands into my pocket.

"We were wondering if we could all come over later and have a Halloween party." Ryder said, his ears twitching slightly.

"Here? Why not at yours?"

"I thought it would be less trouble for you to walk Alpha."

"True... But you two are going to stay to set up."

"Then who will go tell the message?"

"Jax will."

"HELL YEAH!" Jax yelled and sprinted back out the doorway back towards their house.

"Fucking bullshit." Ryder scuffed.

"Well at least you get to decide the decorations." I said, pointing towards the box of still unfinished decorations.

"Uh, sure okay." He huffed and wandered towards the decorations, beginning to shuffle around.

I wandered back towards Y/N, who now was eating at the counter, and wrapped my arms around her, resulting in her face flustering.

"E-Ein! What the hell!"

I snicker slightly, knowing that what I was doing was embarrassing her. "Yessss?"

"Why are you hugging me of all times?!" Her cheeks burned a bright red.

"He's just trying to get some sort of reaction from me." Ryder grumbled and I sighed.

"Well sooorry, I was just trying to be funny to her! She's my friend."

Ryder throws his head back and laughs. "Friends?! You fucking marked her. She isn't just your friend. She's like a friend with benefits."

"Fuck off Ryder, I ain't like you who is always trying to find someone better. I've finally settled on my choices."

"Ryder, I'm okay with it. It's his choice for what he did..." She laughs a little and flusters a little more. "I kinda am okay with it even..."

"Phhh." Ryder grumbled and began to start hanging up decorations.

...

I watched her from across the room, talking with some of the pack members and dancing around in her Halloween costume. Many werewolves filled the rooms in the house, children were laughing and my head was slightly pounding. The noise from the music and the talking was... quite enough at times to stress myself out.

"Ein! Come here for a moment!" Y/N called, which made my body shoot immediately out the seat I was sitting in.

"What's up?" I ask and she takes my wrists, which makes me fluster slightly.

"Loosen up a little! Just dance with me, okay?" Her smile and laugh makes my legs begin to feel like jello.

"O-Okay..." I say, now starting to feel like I was a teenager again, with my mind stirring with thoughts of her...

I felt her gently pull away from me and watched her begin to dance again, her laughter filling the room along with some other females of the pack. I smiled and, embarrassingly, joined in also with my bad dancing skills.

I can't stop looking at her... No like would ever want to stop. She is mine, I need her to be mine. I want to ask her so bad... Maybe I'll do it soon, but not for months. But I can't wait too long... She must have lost those feelings for me by then...

Suddenly the music changed from the upbeat Halloween music to a sort of slow dance. Thank you whoever that was... that is perfect. I wander over to Y/N, who seemed to be ready to move out and not dance to the song, and reach out my hand.

"Y-Y/N... Would you care to dance?"

"S-Sure..." Her face flusters a little as she accepts my hand and pulls herself into my embrace.

I felt her nervous stare in mine, so I helped her by moving her arms around my neck, and followed with my own arms around her waist. I began to sway gently and she nervously followed. I assumed this was both our first time.

I felt her gently rest her head against my chest, so I rested my chin on her head, showing her comfort. It seemed that the whole world was just us, and it felt so quiet because I could almost only hear her speak.

"This is really nice Ein... I don't think any of my own parties really could have matched this."

"It's nothing really..." I said, slightly adjusting my chin on her head.

"No seriously. The amount of happiness I have felt tonight is... just amazing."

"...Thanks..."

"Especially the punch for us adults."

I laugh slightly and she chuckles along with me.

"Ein...?" I hear her speak up again.

"Yeah?"

"Did you know the slow song has been over for a while now?"

I fluster, slightly embarrassed. "Do I look like I care?"

She chuckles slightly and then sighs before speaking again. "Hey Ein..."

"Hmm?"

"Do you ever regret what happened? With Aphmau and them?"

My mind races with horrible flashbacks of his eyes. Aphmau's face. My body getting ripped to shreds. But... my mind stays on one thought. Her. Y/N. When she first came to save my life. How even after I saved her life and she could have ran away for her own safety from a monstrous person like me, she refused to leave me to die in the cold.

Nothing held back my true thoughts. "...No. I wouldn't have met such a absolutely amazing person like you then Y/N. Everything wasn't perfect, but everything worked out in the end now, hasn't it?"

She nods.

The quietness that filled my mind, even though I knew there was music and others that filled the room, I only did want to hear her.

"I love you so much Ein..."

"I love you too... Y/N."
