~Y/N's Pov~

The morning sunshine seeped through the blinds into Aaron's room, not bright enough to disturb us from our slumber.

I awoke to the smell of breakfast cooking downstairs, so I roll out of bed and notice that Aaron isn't in his bed. Makes sense... Hes always been a good cook... I wander downstairs and notice him frying up bacon and a plate of pancakes on the table.

"Good morning, we have guests coming." He laughs a little, obviously tired.

"I hope so..." I say, laughing a little at the comment.

He turns around and puts the plate of bacon on the table next to the pancakes. "I didn't know what to make, so I hope that Lucinda will eat that."

"I will for sure, so not all of it will go to waste..." I look around and sigh. "Everyone went to work?"

"Everyone but Melissa, she's in charge of me while I'm in this 'broken state'."

"Ah, so she's sleeping in?"

"She deserves it." He laughs a little and checks the time. "Lucinda should be here pretty quickly."

"Good... I wanna fix things as soon as possible." I sit down and begin to pick up a pancake and a few pieces of bacon.

"Right..." He mumbles. "Same here..." He looks at his phone and sighs.

The doorbell rings loudly, which even earns a thump from upstairs from a startled Melissa and a little jump from me.

"Sorry..." Aaron mumbles as he walks with a little teeter to the door and opens it.

"Aaron! Thank Irene your okay! Look at you!" Lucinda babbles on and on about his well being as he stands there, slightly listening but more spacing out.

"Thanks Lucinda..." He scratches his head a little, embarrassed because of the compliments.

"Oh and Y/N! Your looking great! How have things been?" Lucinda says, now wandering over to the table and sitting down.

"Meh..." I say, eating my food.

"I can understand."

"Go ahead and grab something to eat Lucinda, I had nothing else to do anyways." Aaron says, wandering back over and sitting down at the table.

"Oh, thank you Aaron." Lucinda says smiling a little.

"I smell food." Melissa says, peeping from in between the railing on the staircase.

"Come get some then." I say, laughing a little.

"Alright! I'm starving!" Melissa runs over and sits down quickly, and almost as fast grabs some food.
