~Y/N's Pov~

I awoke the next morning, my body aching from chasing after Ein yesterday. Apparently playing means running away from someone until they're tired. I rolled over to find him sprawled out in the blankets, obviously exhausted.

"Ein..." I poke his ears, receiving a twitch in response.

"Hmm...?" He rolls over to face me and he smiles tiredly.

"Tired?"

He nods. The bags under his eyes add up with his answer. "Didn't sleep well."

"Was... something on your mind?"

"Well kinda... Would you like to meet the pack today?" He smiles and I nod happily.

"I mean, I have to at some point." My tail was wagging and thumping against the bed with joy. Sure, I'm not a people person, but I've been curious for a while now who is in the pack.

"Right..." He sat up slowly and crawled out of bed.

"Where are they anyways?" I crawl out of bed too, now searching to find what to wear for today.

"They have a nice large house in the woods, just for them. I only visit once a week, which is the reason sometimes I leave the house."

"Oh... makes sense."

He wanders into his bathroom and changes quickly into something comfortable and fitting for the weather. I do almost the same, but I change in the room itself.

"I'm done." I say and he opens the door to come out.

"Would you like to get heading out now or... after we eat here?"

"Now works." I giggle a little, very excited. Ugh, not again... That fucking laugh I made.

"Alright..." He looks down at my hand, thinking for a moment before taking it. "D-Don't want you getting lost in the woods."

"Good idea..."

~Ein's Pov~

I couldn't help myself but to smile, my palms a little sweaty from nervousness. The pack has a lot of males, but most are in a relationship and planning pups... Oh my Irene... Pups.

"Are you okay Ein?" Y/N asks, I was obviously flustered.

"Y-Yeah, just remembered something embarrassing!" I began to walk with her towards their large cabin.

The forest is how its always been for as long as I can remember. Michael had showed me it, telling me how it was a great place to practice magicks... Oh shit... Michael. He's so gonna kill me for failing my mission. The heat of the sun was beginning to seep through the trees, making the ground hot to touch by bare feet.

"Ow! I really should've grabbed shoes." Y/N grumbled and I scratched my neck.

"Sorry... Let me help." I picked her up and set her on my shoulders. "Hold on, okay? I don't want you falling."

"O-Okay..." Her hands dangled beside my face as I held tightly onto her legs.

We continued our journey. The heat was picking up, and so was my pace to the house. The weight on my head seemed especially heavy, so I stopped and sat down, gently and carefully setting her down on the ground. To my amazement, she was asleep.

"Y/N..." My face heated up and I picked her up bridal style. "Why are you always tired?"

She slightly grumbles and rolls over to rest her head against my chest, exposing her... bare neck... and if I'm correct, I think I even see... her bra strap.

My mind began to race with thoughts as my breathing increased... and not the pleasant ones either. I bite my lower lip a little. Could I kiss her...? No... what if I marked her? Should I mark her? How many times though? Isn't it the more you mark the more werewolves will stay away? That's right, those idiots would stay away from her. Tch, she'd be mine and I... I could... I was pretty sure I was smirking and laughing a little to myself without control.

A little noise escaped her mouth, most likely a sigh. This snapped me back into reality again, but one thought still remained in my head... Do I mark her?

I check her to make sure she's still sleeping, and sure enough she is. If I do this, she might hate me. But it'll prevent anyone else from having her... Because she's mine. I made up my mind in that moment, I was going to do it. I just had to be extremely careful not to wake her and get her vengeful wrath, which probably is unavoidable.

Carefully, I brush the remaining hair from the side of her exposed neck. Just a bite... That's all... I place my lips near her neck. Maybe I could give her a hickey... I gently kiss her neck a little and she grumbles a little, waking up. Shit, I actually have to make this quick. I quickly and carefully bite her neck, which results in a whimper from her.

~Y/N's Pov~

I awoke to just pain on my neck, and it wasn't just stubbing my toe pain, it was worse. I try to turn my hand, but something was preventing me from doing so. I was okay though with where I was stuck, which was against Ein's chest.

"Why does my neck hurt...?" I mumble and attempt to rub it, but touch something fluffy instead. The only thing I could think of that was fluffy was... Ein's ears. Then it hit me, he was marking me.

"Ein! What the hell?!" I yelled, grinding my teeth in anger.

I was waiting for blood to come shooting out of his nose because his face was so red. "Y-Y/N! I-It's not what it looks like!"

"It damn sure looks like you just marked me!"

"...Sorry..." He sets me down on my feet and begins to walk in the same direction.

I stay silent and begin to follow him, keeping my pace steady. Why the hell would he mark me anyways?! It's not like he likes me, he tried to kill me a few months ago!

"Y/N... I'm sorry..."

I stay silent and grind my teeth again. "Why... Why did you do that?"

"I... don't know. I'm sorry, I really didn't think about it. I was just really preoccupied with making sure you had your own choice in life."

"And now you took it away, your damn right you didn't think about it."

"I said I'm sorry."

"What if I wanted to choose who I love?! Think of-"

"I SAID I'M SORRY ALRIGHT?!" His fists balled up and his body now was tense.

I stop and fall to ground onto my knees, I was done with playing the game of being 'okay'. I began to cry hard into the grass beneath my feet.

"Y/N... I didn't... mean to." I felt him embrace me and... I didn't push away.

"It's fine... I didn't need to continue going on about it."

"Alright..." He squated down and rested his chin on my head and sighs. "I guess we should just... talk more about ourselves. I feel like I don't know enough about you yet."

"Okay..." I feel him move his chin away and hear him stand up. "Ready to continue?"

I look up and see him reaching out his hand for me, smiling towards me. I take it and he pulls me up, I smile with him.

Maybe being marked by him wasn't such a bad thing...
