~Y/N's Pov~

He drags me by my hand and I chuckle softly. "So what's this thing you have to show me?"

"I won't show you if you keep asking over and over again." He said, continuing to drag me to whatever is so special.

I gaze down at my phone, my little smile now disappearing as I begin to remember again what I'm forgetting. Aaron... Garroth... Lucy... All of them... I miss them so much right now... I felt fine one moment, and the next I had broken down in tears. I felt his hand move from my wrist to embrace me in a hug.

"Hey... what's wrong Y/N?" I felt his chin rest on my head.

"I... miss my friends..."

"...Don't let me stop you from texting them... Just try not to tell them your location."

"Why?"

"...Because I don't wanna almost die again... I have a purpose in life now." He pulls his head away and looks down at me. I looked up at him and notice how when he mentions me, he smiles and... flusters a little.

"...Why am I your purpose?"

"...Because... I-"

"ALPHA! WE FINALLY RETURNED!" Hair shivered down my back as two individuals wandered near us. One had yellow-ish green hair and bright blue eyes and the other had red-ish purple hair and purple ombre eyes.

"...Great timing Jax and Ryder." Ein's voice now sounded upset, he slowly pushes away from a still sniffling me.

"Oh, is this another guest Alpha?" Jax asked.

"Yes you idiot! Who else would it be?!"

"A hobo." Ryder added and both him and Jax snickered.

SMACK! My eyes immediately shot to the hand going across Ryder's face in punishment for his words.

"I'd like for you two to show a little more respect for her! Besides... she might be your Beta..." His eyes darted back to me, now in shock.

"Nice going Alpha-" Jax began, but Ryder covered his mouth, afraid for another punishment to happen.

"I'm so so sorry Y/N..." His voice now back to its original soft tone it was for me.

"...I'll just go to the other room while you handle this..." I push through the three and wander to our room.

~Ein's Pov~

How dare they even fucking say that! They even walked in on her crying! What right do they have to sputter out assumptions of her being homeless even when they've seen and talked to her!

"Boss! We're sorry okay!" Ryder said.

"You're the one who assumed she was a hobo! I ain't!" Jax argued.

"Do me a large favor okay!? Shut the actual FUCK UP FOR JUST ONE MOMENT!" I yelled. They were already getting on my nerves, which was the reason I first sent them out.

Both of them stared in silence, wide eyed and highly attentive. Good... back under control again. "As I was saying, she's going to be our Beta... possibly." I said, scratching my neck nervously.

"But... didn't you want Aphmau?" Jax asked, his ears twitching slightly.

"Forget her for right now... I feel like Y/N would be a better role." I felt a little smile creeping acrossed my face.

"Yes boss." Jax said, slightly lowering his head in agreement.

"Now can you two do me a favor? Mind making sure that the indoor pool will be ready for later?"

"Yes boss." Both Jax and Ryder said at the same time, which lead to them both glaring at each other.

I raise my hand, signaling I would hit one or both of them again if they misbehave. They both immediately react and scramble off to the pool...

What's wrong with those two? They're just too quick to assumptions, which ends up hurting people's feelings... Wait... Y/N!

I quickly wander to our room and open to find her tightly curled up in the blankets, softly snoring. She held the blanket close to her chest tightly, as if she didn't want it to leave her.

"Cute..." I wander over to pet her ears, in which I receive a small twitch from them.

"Leave me aloOoOone..." She mumbled quietly in her sleep.

"Sorry..." I smile and lay down next to her, waiting for her to wake up. "Just wait... Everything will be better soon..."

I hesitate for a moment, and then gently and quickly kiss the tips of her ears. I don't want to wake her, she might slap me across the face if she saw what I just did.

...I think I love you Y/N...
