The music, coming from the black Bluetooth speakers, blared loudly. The surrounding crowded bodies were grinding against each other.

A smile sat on Jude's face. Her blue eyes sparkling in the party lights. She was wearing fishnet stockings under a pair of high waisted shorts, a red Coca-Cola cropped T-shirt laid across her chest while her dancing feet were accompanied by a pair of black doc martens.

She was surrounded by her friends; Ali, Noah, and Dylan. Dylan a tall brunette, she had a kind heart and a bright smile, Noah a beautiful blonde, her icy blue eyes seemed to mesmerize everyone she's crossed paths with, Ali a short red haired fire ball, her love for her friends is completely unbreakable but she also isn't afraid to stand up for what she believes in and is very hard headed.

"Ooo, look at that cutie," Ali said eyeing Justin Remo, someone Jude had known since the 3rd grade. They were friends then but everything changed at the start of high school.

"You should go talk to him!" Jude said excitedly.

"Yeah I need a few more drinks before then." She snickered with a laugh.

Jude had been eyeing Xander Slone all night. He was a tall dark haired boy with brown eyes. He was originally in their grade but had dropped out the year prior. Even so he still finds his way to every party, not that Jude is complaining. He is fun to look at.

A drink was slammed into Jude's hand taking her out of her trance.

"Drink up, we gotta get to the dance floor."

As Jude downed the drink she caught Xanders beautiful brown eye. Though she didn't realize, as she was soon dragged off to the dance floor by Noah and Ali. Dylan was now making her way to the corner of the room to talk to Ryker Daniels. They've been hooking up for the past two weeks meaning it's probably going to end soon.

Jude started dancing as soon as she hit the dance floor, swaying her hips and laughing with Noah and Ali. The brown eyes in the corner still watching her. Smiling at her differences from the other girls around her. Even from not having a single conversation with her. He could see, something was different with her. She seemed real like she wasn't faking who she was. She wasn't twerking, or downing alcohol because others dared her to, and she definitely was not flirting and flaunting with every guy in the room. She was different. She was just having fun,  having a casual drink, and wearing casual clothes.

Xander stood and started to make his way to the dance floor, not really to dance but to talk to the girl whom had caught his eye.

"Hey, I'm Xander," he said as he stood in front of the beautiful blonde.

"Hi, I'm Jude." She said with a bright smile as she stopped dancing.

"Can I get you a drink?" He asked.

"Sure," she said her blue eyes sparkling in all honesty she was amazed, amazed that he would want to talk to her of all people.

He walked away to the kitchen and when Jude went to follow she felt a tug on her arm, she turned to see Noah.

"Be careful with a guy like him. I mean it. He's dangerous." Her friend said with worry almost seeping out of her glowing blue eyes.

"Maybe I like danger." She said with a smirk before follow Mr. pretty face to the kitchen.

"So, are you friends with Kyle?" Xander asked. Kyle was the person throwing the party.

"No, we only got an invite because Dylan helped him fix his test scores last semester." Jude said with a laugh.

"So, she's smart?" Xander said handing Jude a beer.

"Yeah, really smart, I would be surprised if she didn't end up at Harvard or Yale." She said.

"Well, I bet your smart too." He said with a laugh.

"Depends on the topic, and the situation. I surprise myself with some of the stupid things I say without thinking, but when it counts I can be really smart."

"Oh yeah, tell me one stupid thing you've said,"

"Hmm, guess you'll just have to wait until next time. I got to get back to my friends. Have a good rest of your night though." Jude said before hoping up and walking away disappearing into the crowd of teens.
