“Haven’t you ever heard of knocking?” I screamed as Chris barged into my room: I was standing in my lacey coral Aerie push up bra and a pencil skirt. I grabbed a random shirt off my wooden bedroom floor and covered my chest with it as quickly as possible.

“Oh Shit...Umm…Sorry” Chris fumbled with his words as he covered his eyes; his entire face was turning bright red.

“Stay like that” I instructed as I slipped a tank top over my head and tucked it into the multicolored patterned pencil skirt I was already wearing. I took a quick look in the mirror “So what do you want?”

“Nothing…I heard you’re going to Daley’s tonight…” he trailed off mid-sentence deciding he probably shouldn’t continue

“And…?” I knew he had more he wanted to say. I began straightening my hair as he attempted to put his thoughts together.

“Just don’t do anything stupid. I know his family is away” He gave me a stern look.

“UGHH!” I let out a giant sigh. I wanted to scream in his stupid face so badly, but I couldn’t because our parents would hear and know about everything. “I told you this morning I’m not a little girl Chris, I can make my own damn decisions. I know what I’m doing!” He gave me another look and I mumbled “I shouldn’t have told you anything” under my breath

“Umm…What was that?”

“Nothing Chris. I said nothing. You know what else is going to be nothing? Tonight at Tom’s: I’m going over we’re ordering in food, and probably watching a movie or something. I’m not even staying over” my voice rose with every word, I was so angry and annoyed with him. I took a deep breath and exhaled as I ran my fingers through my hair trying to calm myself down. Why did he always have to be so overprotective?

“Whoa Laci, Calm down, I didn’t mean to upset you. I’m sorry” Chris said apologetically. I could tell he was being serious by the upset look in his eyes as he pulled me into a hug: he always hated when I was upset.

“It’s fine, I shouldn’t have blown up at you anyway” I said as we broke from the hug. A smile cracked on his face. “but can you please get out so I can finish getting ready?” He laughed and then closed the door behind him.

Within ten minutes I was finished getting ready and if I do say so myself I was looking pretty hot. My now perfectly straight dark brown hair was all down with the ends resting just above my shoulder besides the very front which I braided into a headband. My makeup like as always was very minimal, just mascara and eyeliner that had gold flecks in it to bring out my eyes. Just a spritz of warm vanilla body mist, Tom’s favorite, and I was out the door.

“Hello Beautiful” Tom said as he opened to door. His eyes slowly moved down from my face and trailed down my body as he took in every aspect of me from the slight cleavage (thank you push up bras!) sticking out of my light grey tank top all the way down my skinny yet muscular legs to my freshly painted coral toenails.

“Would you like me to turn around so you could check out my ass?” I ask jokingly snapping Tom out of his trance; his cheeks instantly turn bright red. “I mean it looks pretty fantastic in this skirt”

“You’re ridiculous Lace” he says laughing as he closes the door behind me.

“I’m just trying to help you out” I plop down on the old grey couch spreading my legs out in front of me and resting my head on the armrest. “And I’m the ridiculous one? You were the one who didn’t let me in for a good two minutes because you were checking me out!” We both laugh. Tom mumbles something under his breath, but I ignore it, as he walks over to the couch I was laying on
