It felt like forever that you were falling. This was normal. You had read that once an angel became a fallen angel, the fall burnt their wings off slowly and painfully. That was the brand of the falling angel, burns on their back that will be passed down from generation to generation. When they died, they were sent to hell, no matter how kind or sin free they were. Tears fell from your eyes that floated upwards, creating storms that soon drenched the lands of earth. You felt the flames, you were nearing earth. You closed your eyes as you landed. It was a soft landing. You opened your eyes and saw that it was dark out, night time. The rain coming down hard. You sat up and screamed in pain. You reached to feel your back, but you felt your wings.

"What?" You asked out loud. You moved your left wing and it came out, not a burned mark on it. you tried to move your right one, but you once again screamed. Oh, that's right, it was broken.

"Miss?" You heard and lifted your head to see a male human. He looked at you with shock. You thought he saw your wings but remember humans can't see angels, well their wings at least.

"Are you alright?" He asked you, walking up to you. You nodded and stood. Your wing was killing you, but a human wouldn't understand because he couldn't see them. He then stopped, eyes wide.

"A-are those wings real?" He asked. You looked at him, scared.

How?

"Y-you can see them?" You asked. He nodded but you then fell. Your wing was trying to fold upward so it wouldn't drag, making it worse. You screamed again. He ran to you.

"Your right wing looks broken, let me help you." He said and picked you up like you weighed nothing. Your broken wing was dragging on the ground.

"How can he see them, humans can't see angel wings." You whispered. The man looked at you as he walked.

"So, you're an angel? Do angels come here often?" He asked. You looked up at him, then down at your hand that were folding on your stomach.

"Yes, well no. We come to get re-born. I was pushed from heaven making me a fallen angel, but my wings didn't get burned off." You said. You were allowed to tell humans things like that. That's how their stories get told. He just nodded and put you down, taking out some keys and opened a door, walking in with you. He put you down on a couch. You winced as your wing hit the side of it. He looked at it.

"Is there anyone we can call to get this looked at?" He asked. You shook your head.

"No. Once an angel is on earth, they're alone. My wing needs to be set but I don't think any doctor can see them. I don't even know how you can see them." You said. He smiled.

"Well, I'm not sure, but I'm glad to help. I once broke my arm and reset it. It was almost perfect. I can try, if you want." He asked. You wimped in fear.

"It has to be done." You said. His smiled faded and nodded, walking into another room. He came back with three wooden spoons and a long cloth. He held one of the spoons up to your mouth.

"Bite on this, it will help." He said. You grab it, putting it in in your mouth and turned, grabbing onto a pillow he had on his couch.

"OK, on the count of three. One, two, three." He said and pulled your wing extremely fast. You screamed in pain, clenching the pillow as you felt the bone in your wing get straight and he put the two other wooden spoons on either side, using the cloth like a splint.

"OK, it's over." He said. You were crying. It was worse than the breaking its self. You dropped the spoon from your mouth as you gave a small sod. He sat by you.

"I know that hurt, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt an angel." He said. You looked at him.

"It's OK, I'm no angel now. I'm a sinner. A fallen angel but thank you for helping me." You said. He smiled at you.

"You don't look like a sinner to me. Just an angel." You smiled as he said that. You mouthed a thank you before you felt your eyes getting heavy. You didn't notice him moving you to lie down or how he put a pillow under your head and blanket on you as you fell asleep.
