You and Mark were sitting. You looked at him before you closed your eyes and you felt the weightlessness.
"(y/n)?" You heard God say. You opened your eyes and bowed before you looked at him.
"The claim on your soul is gone, what happened?" He asked. You told him what happened with the deal you made.
"But I don't know why Dark disappeared." You asked. You and God were now walking on the clouds. God smiled.
"(y/n) you sacrificed your own well-being for Mark, someone who had saved you. When you sealed the deal, your soul was set free and the claim he had on you was gone. You can return to heaven now." God said. You smiled, but it faded. You stopped walking.
"What's wrong (y/n)?" God asked, stopping to look at you.
"What about Mark? He did everything for me. I can't just leave him." You asked. God smiled.
"I can send you back, but you would be mortal, your life would be tied to his." He said. You looked at the clouds.
"Can I talk to him about this?" You asked. God smiled and nodded. You felt yourself falling slowly. You opened your eyes, looking at Mark.
"Well?" He asked. You smiled softly.
"God said I can come back, that Dark is gone and I'm free, but..." You started. Mark looked concerned.
"But what?" He asked. You sighed.
"What about you? I don't want to leave the man that helped me, that saved me." You said. Mark smiled.
"Then stay. I would love to have you here." He said. You smiled sadly.
"Mark, I would no longer be an angel and my life would be tied to yours." You said. You didn't want to beat around the bush. Mark might not want this but then Mark smiled.
"You would be a mortal, wouldn't you?" He asked. You nodded. Mark grabbed you and kissed you. You smiled, wrapping your arms around him. You felt a warmth around your body, you knew with that kiss you turned mortal. Mark pulled back, looking into your eyes.
"I love you (y/n). I knew that when that demon kidnapped you. I was scared for you, I wanted to save you." Mark said. You smiled.
"You did save me." You said. You and Mark both stood. He took your hand and you both walked out of the church.
You spend your life with Mark, marring him and raising a family. It was perfect, but you felt different without your wings and sometimes you missed the feeling of them but, when Mark kissed you, held you, talked to you and even looked at you.
You knew you were in heaven when you were with Mark.
