3rd person POV

Lucas was walking Jungwoo down the sidewalk for a good amount of time when Jungwoo was starting to get curious

What does he have to show me on the night of Christmas that's this far?

Jungwoo didn't know how to feel, but he knew he was feeling more then he should be. His crush was taking him by the hand walking him down the sidewalk not knowing where it was leading to. Some part of him didn't care since he was just happy to be with Lucas.

"We're almost there don't worry." Lucas looked at Jungwoo in the eyes and wanted to kiss him but knew he needed to wait a little longer for the perfect moment. Jungwoo paused for a moment to look back at Lucas. Jungwoo felt that feeling again, the feeling of wanting to be close to Lucas for this rest of his life and being able to hug and snuggle with him.

Lucas broke the stare and continued to bring Jungwoo to the perfect place. Jungwoo followed behind like the puppy he acts to be. Jungwoo admired the beautiful Christmas decorations around the city. The lights radiated happy energy that bosted Jungwoo's mood.

Jungwoo began to see bright lights shining from off a bridge. The closer they got to the bridge, the more clear they could see the river. Jungwoo's eyes brightened up at the sight of it. It was beautiful.

"Why are we here?" Jungwoo's eyes were staring at the sparkling river but moved his sight to the boy in front of him. Jungwoo was confused and he felt as if Lucas has something important to say. He wasn't sure if it was going to be good or bad news.

What if he found out my crush and doesn't want to be my friend anymore?

Lucas grabbed Jungwoo's hands in his own as Lucas knew he was finally ready to tell Jungwoo of his true feelings.

"Jungwoo I'm-" Lucas got cut off by voice in the distance. "Jungwoo?" Jungwoo and Lucas turned their heads towards the voice.

They saw a tall man with black hair approaching and Lucas cursed the person who ruined his chance to confess to Jungwoo.

"Doyoung?" Jungwoo replied to him with wide eyes. Doyoung ran up to Jungwoo and hugged him tightly like he wouldn't ever let go. Lucas was confused and also jealous at this random person who just showed up at the wrong time. The hug had already lasted for around ten seconds and Lucas was already getting annoyed.

The two males had finally let of each other after some time and Lucas had let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.

"I haven't seen you in forever Doyoungie! Where have you been?" Jungwoo had given Doyoung a bright smile that would make anyone's heart melt. Including Doyoungs, you could see the jealousy straight through Lucas' eyes.

"After high school, I moved away to go to a college that's far away. I wanted to come to visit here because I have good memories here. I didn't think I would get to run into you." Doyoung ended and looked away from Jungwoo to see Lucas.

"Who's this?" Doyoung questioned. Lucas smirked knowing what he was going to say to make this 'Doyoung' person go away.

"I'm Jungwoo's boyfriend." Lucas went closer to Jungwoo and put his arm around his neck.

Jungwoo was a blushing mess but he still didn't say anything to confirm or deny the statement. Doyoung showed a slightly disappointed expression that Lucas caught onto.

Doyoung wouldn't lie, he wasn't sure about Lucas. He was happy that his ex had found someone that made him happy because Jungwoo and Doyoung weren't exactly a good match for each other.

Jungwoo wasn't sure why Lucas would say something like that.

Boyfriend? Is he just messing with me again?

"He's not my boyfriend Doyoungie don't worry. He's just my best friend it's not like that." Jungwoo's voice was laced with sadness, he felt more than just friends with Lucas but he didn't want to admit it just yet.

"Okay then I have to catch up with my friend but I'll text you later and see if we can hang out." Doyoung waved goodbye to the both of them and Jungwoo waved back. Maybe he would see if he could talk to his friend later. Jungwoo moved to see Lucas focusing on the river water.

It still stung Lucas' heart that Jungwoo had called them just friends and he just wanted to tell Jungwoo how much he loved him. He knew Jungwoo didn't mean that, he just wanted to hide his emotions.

But they aren't just friends.

"Jungwoo I love you." Lucas blurted out. Not even Lucas was prepared to say that, he had a plan to follow.

"I know you love me too. I can tell and I just want to be happy with you." Lucas went up to Jungwoo and threw his arm's over his shoulders. Jungwoo was lost in the moment he couldn't believe this was actually happening. Lucas loves me and he knows that I love him?

"I love you too." Jungwoo said quietly into Lucas' jacket as he pulled into his hold.

After hugging for a good amount of time Lucas pulled Jungwoo away from him and looked him in the eyes for a second before he brought their lips together.

They had kissed before but no of those felt like this one did. This one felt like little sparks were jumping up and down inside of them.

They detached their lips from one another and Jungwoo shyly looked away from the other.

"Can we go back to the apartment?" Lucas was happy that they finally admitted their feelings for each other and he just wanted to cuddle with Jungwoo for the rest of the night.

He would ask later who Doyoung was but he wouldn't worry about it too much right now.
