Jungwoo's POV

I wake up feeling my hair being twirled around and I slowly open my eyes. I see Lucas looking down at me with a smile. 

"Merry Christmas." He whispers not needing to say it louder considering how close we are. I feel my cheeks heat up slightly. I can feel our legs intertwined with each other and my head is on the pillow with Lucas playing with my hair. 

"Merry Christmas." I feel him moving and I was expecting him to get up out of the bed but he's only getting closer to me. I like him close to me. 

I feel him hover over me and he kisses my forehead,  nose, then he looks at my face which is very flushed at the moment. He pecks my lips then connects them once again and this time I'm able to kiss back so I do. I don't know the next time we are going to be like this if it ever happens again. 

Suddenly I feel sad because I don't want this to end. I don't know if he's just doing this because he's bored or if he actually has feelings for me.

Why is he making me so confused?

I stop kissing back but he only starts moving to my neck. At this point, it feels painful. I don't know how he feels but I know that it's only hurting me.  

I lightly push him off and start to sit up. I just want to get out. I didn't bring anything in the room so I'm about to get out of the bed when he grabs my hand. 

"Where are you going?" He asks. I don't know what to say because I'm not ready to confess my feelings yet. I can't say that I'm hurt by what he's doing. 

"I'll be back." I walk out of his room and go to mine to get ready. I just want to go on a walk in the city so I can have some fresh air and get away from Lucas. This morning only complicated things. 

I'm getting ready to walk out of the door when I see my aunt and my cousin. 

"I'm staying with you again Snoopy!!" Chanhyun ran up to my leg and hugged it. 

"I'm sorry Jungwoo but can you watch him people at the office need me." She told me in a tone that made me feel bad. I wouldn't say no because even though she's not the best mother I still love Chanhyun. 

"It's Christmas though." I say to her disappointed but she only looks at me like she's sorry. I'm sure she is to some degree but not as much as she should be. 

"I've got to get going but Merry Christmas!" She left with her work bag and ran off through the halls of the apartment building. 

I looked down at Chanhyun and picked him up so we can leave. I'm afraid if I stay here any longer then Lucas is going to come to find me and ask what is wrong but I'm not ready to face that.

Lucas POV

Where did he run off to?

Maybe I made him feel uncomfortable. Maybe I was too forward.

It's Christmas and I can't even have the one I want next to me. Well, I did but then I had to go and mess that up.

I still have my plan to confess to him at the end of the night. I want him to say he loves me back and tell me that he has felt the same way about me this whole time.

I loved this morning because that's how I wish every morning could be. Jungwoo waking up in my arms then kissing until we go get breakfast. We didn't make it to the breakfast part but if there's a next it will happen.

Today I was planning to chill with Jungwoo and go to Christmas dinner with his family. We will still have dinner with his family I'm guessing.

I want to go find him but I think I scared him so I'm going to give him a break. I'm going facetime some of my friends back home and wish them Merry Christmas.

3rd Person POV

Jungwoo had been walking around the city with Chanhyun and admiring the Christmas decorations with the winter weather. Going out was helping clear his head and he was happy Chanhyun was with him because he didn't want to be alone.

"Where's uncle Lucasy?" Chanhyun asked looking up at Jungwoo. Jungwoo knew he would bring this up sooner or later

"He is busy." That's all the words he could find to tell Chanhyun. Honestly, he didn't know what to say, it's not like he was mad at Lucas. It just hurt because he could never be sure if Lucas had the same feelings as him.

"With what he has nothing to do here." Chanhyun wanted to find the answer he was looking for.

"Are you mad at him?" Jungwoo froze not knowing what to say for a second. He moved down on his knee to be the same hight as Chanhyun getting ready to explain.

"No, I just don't know if we feel the same for each other." Chanhyun shook his head in a 'no' motion.

"You two are pathetic." Chanhyun said under his breath which Jungwoo never heard. "Are you both still coming for dinner?" Jungwoo got up and started walking taking Chanhyun's hand.

"Yes, I'll make sure he's there. It's almost 2 so we should get back to the apartment to get ready to see the family for dinner." They still had a somewhat long walk to get back to their temporary home so it's best that they would go home soon.

Lucas was chilling in the living room watching a show when he heard the door open and him knowing that it would be Jungwoo made his heart skip a beat. He quickly fixed his posture ready for Jungwoo to walk in.

"I'm home but we have to leave in an hour so we have to start getting ready." Jungwoo made the quick statement and was about to walk off when Chanhyun broke off of Jungwoo's hold.

"Lucasy!" Chanhyun screamed and ran up to his lap and jumped on him. Lucas grabbed him and smiled like he just saw a puppy.

"Hey, buddy what you doing here?" Lucas asked Chanhyun but was also looking for an answer from Jungwoo.

"I'm here for youuu!" Chanhyun said cutely and rolled over on Lucas' lap.

"His mother had a work emergency so she couldn't take care of him." Jungwoo answered sadly but watched Chanhyun playing in Lucas' lap.

"Oh. Okay I have to get ready so you stay here and watch paw patrol while we're gone Chanhyun." Lucas said and watched Jungwoo leave before he could even say anything to him.

How can he be this cute and put me through this? Jungwoo thought.
