"there!" hunk said pointing at a jeweler who was standing behind the counter, spinning a ring around.
the two ran over to the booth and lance slammed his fist onto the table.
"I need an engagement ring." the man jumped and looked at lance.
"describe her," he said.
"short and cute, and she smart but sassy as hell," Lance said.
"what color are you wanting?"
"green."
the man nodded and went back into a drawer. he pulled out a small blue box. he held it to lance and opened it.
"this is a titanium ring with a square cut emerald and surrounded by diamonds. it is not worth much since it's just from earth but its there."

"perfect! how much?" Lance said.
15 minutes later Lance was back in his roo meeting ready for his date with the woman of his dreams.
"so how are you going to ask her?" hunk asked Lance.
"don't worry about it all you gotta know is that I've handled everything."
lance finished getting ready and walked to pidge's room. he knocked on the door and she stepped out in a cute short green dress.
"hey." she smiled at him. lance gave a goofy smile and watched as pidge giggled at him.
"Hello? earth to lance?" she said.
lance grabbed her hand and giggled as he pulled pidge to his lion. pidge got on and Lance sent out a secret signal to Coran tellin him to light the candles and head back to the castle. lance flew his lion to the planet. they landed and pidge gasped at the candlelit path. lance led pidge down the path as she looked around. they stopped at a small pond with fireflies buzzing around the water. hunk made pidges favorite food plus peanut butter cookies, which sat on the blanket.
after they finished eating lance was getting super nervous.
"lance are you okay? you seem rather on edge," she asked.
"y-yeah I'm fine I just..." he took a breath and pulled pidge up so they stood on the blanket, "i love you, I love you so much and I would trade anything to have you. I love everything about you. your hair, eyes, personality, face, sassiness, and every last freckle on your body."
pidge giggled and watched lance stutter.
"I want to be with you for the rest of life and... look I guess what I trying to say is..." he got down on one knee and opened the box.
"will you marry me Katie holt?" he asked.
pidge burst into tears and nodded like crazy. lance slid the ring on her finger as she jumped into his arms. lance spun her around and looked at her. lance picked her up and stared into Katie's eyes.
pidge kissed lance and melted into him.
"I love you, Lance."
"I love you too, pidge."
as soon as Hunk and can hear the hangar open they rushed everyone to the door waiting for pidge and lance to come in. Hunk and Coran were the only people who even knew about lances proposal. they were bouncing up and down like two 3 years about to Santa walk in the room riding a unicorn.
"what's going on?" Keith, Shiro, and Allura all asked at once.
suddenly pidge and lance walking through the door holding hands.
"Well!?" hunk and Coran yelled, earning a weird look from the other three.
pidge smiled and held up her hand revealing the beautiful engagement ring on her finger.
the other three paladins went into shock while hunk and Coran hugged each other and cheered.
after 2 hours of congratulating and tears. pidge finally headed to bed. that night pidge slept in Lance's room with him while cuddling.
