pidge was 23 now with two beautiful twins. pidge was curled up in bed with lance's arms around her when a sudden weight slammed on her side.

"Oof!" pidge sat up and looked down at her two little girls. 

"wake up wake up wake up!" Spencer chanted while jumping on the bed.

sammy, the small girl just curled up next to her dad.  lance easily wrapped his arms around the young girl and continued sleeping. pidge got up and carried Spencer to the kitchen. they made pancakes and by the time lance and Sammy came out of the room, the food was finished. after breakfast, everyone got ready and headed to the park for the day. 

pidge was sitting on a blanket watching her two daughters play on the monkey bars. lance's finger was intertwined with pidge's as they say and relaxed on the blanket. after several hours, the family got lunch at a nearby hotdog stand and continued playing a bit. before going to the beach to finish off the day.

sammy splashed her sister as they played in the water. lance and pidge sat on a blanket with their hands intertwined again.

"they really are perfect," Pidge said.

"yeah, they really are," Lance replied. 

"you know what would make this even more perfect?" pidge asked.

"what?" lance asked back.

"one more child playing with them," Pidge said.

lance looked at pidge. the setting sun made her glow just like the day they got married. her freckles dotting her skin looking like constellations. a small blush dusted her cheeks. lance blushed and smiled.

"I was gonna say ice cream, but that's even better." he giggled.

pidge giggled and looked at him. their eyes met and pidge still got butterflies.

"wow." Lance sighed.

"what?" pidge asked.

"you're just as beautiful as the day we met."

pidge giggled, "and you're just as much of a goofball."

lance giggled as he pulled pidge close and cuddled her while watching their kids play.
