Effort : Taehyung

Relationship got stronger when the both persons works for the relationship. But days by days, it slowly turn into argument and something felt off.

"I felt like he was cheating on me"

You said while admiring on your screen lock wallpaper.

"Are you sure y/n?" Yoona asks.

"He wasn't there for me lately. I want to go to an exhibition last weekend with him and he told me that he have some works to do.
I met him everyday and he's always late" you sighed thinking about him.

"Did you ask his friends?"

"His hyung said he came home late too, 11 pm. That's unusual" just the thought of that, something came to your mind.

"I think he's bored of me"

That's happen after honeymoon stage of couple. Some couple figured it out and works on it together. A lot of them broke up because they thought the relationship didn't work out.

"Y/n calm down, I will ask him what's happening so calm down and relax. Please think twice before saying or doing anything" she gave you the most important advice for that stage.

"I can't even bare to see him -" tears ran down your cheeks.

"It's okay, calm down okay? I will figured it out and tell you everything okay?" Istg she's the best bff in this world.

You waited for him on the bench and the thought of breaking up keep running through your heads. It's making you feel sad and depressed. You saw a tall man walking toward you. Those thoughts keep forcing you to spill it out instead of keeping it.

"Hey babe, sorry I'm late I was-"

"With another girl?" You cutted him.

He was shock and dumbfounded.

"Stop acting Taehyung.. you've been doing this behind me? You wasn't there for me when I need you! You said you were busy on the weekend but you were seeing that girl right? Answer me Taehyung!" Before he could open his mouth you continued.

"We're in this for two years babe.. I made so much memories with you, I'm glad that I'm in love with just one man and I don't want anybody else. But for two months, I hold all these thoughts and I can't keep it anymore.. why you do this to me?" You burst into tears.

Taehyung chuckles and wipe your tears.

"What are you talking about? Ah there's so much to explain" he sighs while caressing your face.

"For the past two months, I had an argument with my dad and he's still mad at me so he didn't send me monthly allowance for daily days. I was low on cash so I search for part time jobs and got it. I work on weekdays and weekends. Your birthday is upcoming and I want to give you the best gift but I don't have enough money to buy it.. There's no other girls can replace you" his lips curle into smiles after the long explanation.

"But.."

"I'm sorry that I wasn't there for you when you need me, I know you're going through a lot. I ask my manager to give me some days off but he said the shop needs staff for three months, I can't" he sighed and smiles.

"Why you didn't tell me earlier?" You said and pull his hands.

"Well, It will look like I'm a loser. A boyfriend should pay for everything on dates, give her the best gift, treat her nicely.. that effort is important. I tried to keep it going and I felt something was off with you" he stated.

He pulls you into his arms, the way your head fits in perfectly makes you happy everytime you hug him.

"I love you and only you"

A question popped out in your mind.

"What was off with me?" You pulled away.

"You actions, you didn't feel my effort toward you anymore so you became awkward and scared to tell me. I knew it. I thought that after I done my works I want to meet you but I was so tired and it's late.
By that time I know, I reached the limit of my effort but I want step over it and go higher but I can't. I still don't give up"

"Thank you for doing all those for me.. I'm sorry that I didn't notice that little effort you did" you said before hearing your stomach growling.

"Omo what's that sound?" He said, teasing you since it was kinda loud.

"It's my fault that I didn't told u earlier, let's be honest and tell each other if it's important okay?" He did the pinky promise and kiss your hand.

"Now let's go get some food, my girl will turn into lion again if I didn't fulfill it" he laughs and pull her hands into his.

Effort is the most important thing in relationship, every stages need it. Work it out while you still have chances.
