"Hey," a smooth, deep voice spoke from beside me as I had been fixing myself a cup of bland black coffee. "Do you happen to be, Colin Morgan?" My shoulders tensed, and my grip on the styrofoam cup tightened. Turning my head, my eyes were met with large crystal blue ones. "Yes," I responded quietly, my pupils tracing and examining over his features slowly. "That is me. Is there something you need?"

He had large, pink lips, and a chiseled, square-like jaw. Atop his head was a mop of ruffled blonde hair that fell loosely over his forehead. It shined, and looked soft. He released a large grin, exposing his pearly whites and semi-crooked teeth, holding out his hand. "The names Bradley. Bradley James."

I reached out my own hand and grasped his, holding onto it gently. "Bradley, huh?" I relapsed in a breath, my heart fluttering. His hand was firm and strong—warm. "You're acting as Arthur Pendragon, if i'm not mistaken?"

He nodded. "It seems so. And you as the lead role: Merlin." I shook my head in agreement. "It's nice to finally get acquainted to you, Colin. Or should I say; Merlin."

A smile pulled at the corners of my lips. "Likewise, Arthur." He gently gave my hand a squeeze, and my eyes found their way drifting down to gaze upon our locked fingers, and noticed the heat from both our palms radiated into one anothers. My heartbeat increased and sped up, and I was pulled into a mesmerizing trance at the touch of his hand.

"It's good to see you two getting acquainted!" A voice called from the opposite direction, causing me to rip my hand from his grasp and spin around on my heels, facing the direction the voice had been heard. There stood a large man with a large stomach; a thick, gray beard rounding out his face. He had short white hair, and wrinkled, bright brown eyes. "You'll need to get comfortable with each other if we're to all be successful in this series."

I heard Bradley clear his throat from behind me, while I shoved my fists deep in my pockets; palms sweaty; Hot.

"Indeed, I look forward to working with all of you! I love meeting and bonding with new people. The more you know and learn about men, I suppose." Bradley chuckled, smiled nervously. Looks like he was good at those first impression vibes. That's a gift i'll never have.

"Good, that's what I like to hear. I just came over to let you both know that we'll be throwing a get-together at Scott's to introduce ourselves to our new colleagues and kind of get to know them. It'll be a long, epic journey on the set of Merlin, so we'll need to get comfortable with those around us for the benefit of everyone! We'll also be releasing the scripts for episode one already, so be there by six tomorrow night."

"Not a problem, see you tomorrow evening."

"Wouldn't miss it for the world." Turning back towards Bradley while our director walked off, we both stood facing each other with blank expressions, before breaking out into fits of laughter. "Little friendly get-together, eh? Reminds me of my Ma's seventy-year old bookclub meetings every Sunday night." The blonde mused, and we both snorted.

"Hey, books aren't that bad!" I protested playfully, as Bradley turned and began to walk away himself. "They aren't unless you're a granny!" He shouted over his shoulder.

I laughed, and with a cheeky smile plastered on my face, I turned back to my cup of coffee and chuckled to myself. "What an odd and straight forward man."
