Chapter 4: A Brand New Me

Its been a month or so since Naruto moved in with Sasuke and Itachi. They've been kind enough to buy him new clothes and he even gets an allowance from Itachi every other week, receiving $200 total for the month. He buys things he needs and saves the rest up for future wants. Naruto still wears the dark clothing but he adds his favorite color in them, orange. Today Naruto was wearing some black skinny jeans with a blue long-sleeve shirt. He also had an orange vest with orange and black shoes. For accessories, he had two silver chains hanging from each side of his pants and a green crystal hanging around his neck. He's also starting to look more healthier. His skin is tan and his hair is golden blonde again. He doesn't have the black dye anymore. He has a new lip ring and only 2 ear piercings. Naruto is changing everyday. He has changed his looks and become more protective of himself and harsh or violent to other people. He has a lot more respect and he gets into more trouble than usual. Naruto is at school in 2nd period. He has Kakashi with Kiba and Shikamaru. Kakashi was late yet again and was no where to be found. So they all just sat and chilled for a little while.

"Oi... Naruto.... Whats up?... We haven't seen you in a while... Where you been?" Kiba blurted out from across the room. Everyone stared at Naruto wanting to know whether or not he was going to answer Kiba. They all had that glare they would always give him. Even Neji, Hinata, Sakura, Ino, and Sai looked at him with the same glare. "Aren't you gonna answer you loser friends?!. They are the ones that are always protecting you.." Sakura shouted. Naruto looked at Sakura. "Pinky... How about you shut your trap?... Kiba, Shikamaru... I've been good... I'll tell you the story at lunch and we all will be on good terms. Okay.." Naruto turned away. Everyone was shocked that he said something to one of his bullies. Sakura was shocked and stood in front of Naruto. He looked up out of his seat and at Sakura."You're not transparent ya'know. Get out of the way."

"Make me..."

"Oh... Sorry.. I'd hate to have to clean up the mess you're about to make... I already took out the trash this morning.... How about you just go throw yourself away and cut me some slack...Thanks Pinky.." Saying so, the blonde cooed her away.

Everyone in the class was surprised. Naruto just dissed one of the popular kids in school. Sakura was angry. She held up her hand and went for Naruto's face. An echo was heard throughout the room. Sakura just slapped Naruto with sheer force. There was a red hand print going right across the blondes face. He stood up in anger, coming eye to eye with her. A glare in his eyes, "Sakura... Since your a girl and all... I'm not gonna hit you because I don't and will try my best not to hit girls... But if you push me to the limit... I wont hesitate... I'm gonna be nice and tell you to leave me alone.. This is your last chance and if I were you, I would take it. Now just walk away before you or I do something we both will regret."

'I wont let this loser make a fool out of me...' Sakura thought to herself... 

Sakura being so obsessed with her popularity, did something Naruto told her not to do. She slapped him across his face once again in the exact same spot.. Naruto balded up his fist. He looked at Sakura with a smirk on his face. Before Naruto could do anything Kiba and Shika shouted for him not to do anything harsh. Shikamaru took out his phone and started to text Sasuke.

Shika: Hey Sasuke... I need you to get over here NOW.... ASAP.... 

Sasuke: Why? Did something happen?

Shika: Sakura just slapped Naruto and he looks like he's about to go Incredible Hulk on her. Kiba and I will try and talk to him until you get here... Room #311... 

Sasuke: Ok... On my way

~~~~Naruto POV~~~

'I really don't want to hurt her so maybe ill just humiliate her. Or maybe I should hurt her... She is one of the many people who bullied me. I'm not gonna do anything that can get me taken to jail though. Ill just slap her back and laugh or ill just taunt her.'  I thought to myself. I never really liked hurting people but know I'm tired of being protected all the time. Its always Sasuke, Kiba, and Shikamaru coming to save me. Its my turn to save myself from everyone and show them that I'm not weak. I'm not that cry baby everyone thinks I am. I'm strong and ill show them.

"Naruto... Think about what you're doing... You don't want to do something you'll regret... Shes a girl.... Think about it..." I heard Kiba talking to me... Trying to make me change my mind... "I have thought about it Kiba... I'm not stopping until I finish what she started."

~~~~Authors POV~~~~

Naruto had no hesitation.  He held his hand up and went for her face. Sakura was afraid. She closed her eyes and waited for the hit to come. Sasuke came bursting through the door only to see Naruto about to hit Sakura. He stopped and was shocked that he was fighting back. When Naruto's hand came within an inch of her face.... He stopped and tapped her on her cheek. He wasn't going to hit a girl. "I can see that you're scared. Since I've told you once that I don't hit girls and I don't intend to start...Tell your friends what happened and if they want to come after me... Let them... Just know I wont hesitate.... Now scram..." Sakura stood there frozen. She was too afraid to move.."I said... SCRAM... NOW GO!!!" Naruto yelled. When Sakura ran his eyes met with Sasuke's. The blue haired male had a look of shock. He turned around and looked at Shikamaru and Kiba. They were also shocked. Naruto had victory. This was the brand new him. He sat back down with a victory smile, his hand on his throbbing cheek. 

~~~~Time Skipp----- Lunch Time~~~~

Naruto, Shikamaru, and Kiba walked in the lunch room to meet the one and only Sasuke Uchiha. They all brought their lunches so they just sat at their usual table by the window. "Sasuke... Naruto fought back... We didn't have to help or anything... What have you guys been doing to get him like this...?" Kiba says "I saw... and we don't do anything... I also want to know where he found the guts to fight back.?" Sasuke looked at Naruto with a questioning look. "You know... Before I texted you... He was dissing Sakura and everything.." Shikamaru says with a grin on his face.

"So he did....? Ahem... You mind telling me what I miss out on.. Naruto...?

"Okay... It all started out when Kiba asked me a question about where I been.. To answer that Kiba... I've been with Sasuke for the past month now.... And then Sakura said something to me when I didn't answer Kiba right away.... So I told her to shut her trap and I called her Pinky. She got mad, and stood in my way. So I told her to move then she was like "make me".. and you know the rest after that."

"Did I hear right or did you just say you of all people call Sakura Haruno Pinky.?"

"Yep... You heard correctly.."

Sasuke, Kiba, and Shikamaru all burst into laughter. Sasuke was going on about how he wished Shika had texted him earlier so that he could see it. They talked about what went on in 2nd period and other things that have happened in the past month. What Shikamaru and Kiba didn't know was that Minato was in jail and Naruto was living with Sasuke and Itachi. They all had a good time until the bell rang to go home.

When Naruto, Sasuke, Kiba, and Shika left the building they were met with Neji, Sai, and Sakura. "Now... Poor, poor, Sakura went and told Neji and Sai about this morning did she... Oh well... I don't have time for this right now and I want to go home.. Lets go guys.." Naruto said and started to walk away.
