Chapter 1: HeartAche

Naruto's day began at 6:30 every morning. He would wake up, get ready for school, and leave... at least that's how any normal teen would've done. At 6:30 in the morning, Naruto got up and got dressed. He wore a long sleeve dark blue shirt and black pants with a pair of shoes to compliment the outfit. He also had 2 lip piercings, and 4 ear piercings, two in each ear. His hair was blonde but looked a bit faded as if he was sick. To most people, because the blonde was so depressed and quiet, he would be considered "emo." Well no, he just didn't have much to talk about. 

Naruto made his way downstairs when he accidentally ran into the older blonde, also known as his father, Minato, making him spill his cup of coffee on the both of them. Naruto stepped back and started wiping at himself before greeting his father.

"Goodmorning Minato."

Naruto didn't call him dad for the first time. Minato on the other hand was angry but it seemed like he let it pass. He went back to the kitchen and made another cup. Naruto ran back up to his room and put on a different long sleeve shirt. When he got back downstairs, he found himself getting slammed into the wall with a knife held up to his cheek.

"You disrespectful piece of shit. I am your father and you will address me as that. You also made me spill my coffee and for that you will pay." Minato started to cut three lines across both cheeks. Naruto wanted to cry but he knew that if he did the punishment would be worse so he held it in. Tears started to run down his face and sting the cuts.His blood from his cuts were on his shirt but you couldn't really see it. He ran back up to his room and changed once again. He cleaned his scarred face and walked out the house. He arrived at school 10 minutes later. Just when you thought it was over, he was approached by Neji, Hinata, Sakura, Ino, and Sai. They all bullied him. Mostly Neji, Sakura, and Ino. He was afraid so he stood speechless.

"Hey. Look at what the cat dragged in. Little Naruto Uzumaki. You should just leave here and find someone who really loves you... not that you'd find that anyway." Neji was a jerk. All the kids laughed at Naruto... Sakura, Ino, Sai, and Hinata all laughed.

"......" Was the only thing he could say. He was afraid to even answer.

"Did you hear me Goldilocks? Are you gonna answer me?"

"...." Naruto still gave no answer. He decided to just walk away. When he turned around he was pushed down and beating up. Neji and Sai jumped him, kicking and punching him. Naruto didn't have the will to fight back.

"Hey losers! Do you think that what your doing is a fair fight! How about I join you and we can settle this with a little 3 on 2?"

"3 on 2? We'll just beat you to a pulp as well. I mean it is just you." Sai says

"That's where you're wrong. I'm sure Sasuke did say 3 on 2 if I'm not mistaken." Kiba came jumping out of a tree.

"Yeah Kiba. He totally said 3 on 2. I'm positive you, Sasuke, and I make 3." Shikamaru then came from behind a tree and looked at Sasuke and Kiba, then to Naruto.

Neji and Sai just looked at them knowing they were outnumbered. They were at their defeat, so they walked away. Sasuke, Kiba, and Shika ran to Naruto and saw that he had scars on his face and his lip was bleeding.

"Hey Naru are you okay?" Sasuke was trying to keep his cool but they all could see that he was worried.

"Yea im fine. Im gonna go to the nurses office and get some ice or something."

"Yea we're going with" Kiba made sure to let Shika know that when he said "we" he meant him and Shikamaru. "Yea we're going with" Shika says lazily.

They all go to the nurses office and sits in the room with him.

"Hey Mr. Uzumaki right." Says Shizune, the nurse

"Yes thats me."

"Okay. Can you take your shirt off for me so I can check for any fractured bones and bruises?" Naruto was shocked that he had to take off his shirt because of how many scars and bruises he had, but he took it off anyway. The three friends and even Shizune looked at his body in shock only to see bruises and scars on his arms and wrist. Naruto looked down at his body to see the scars. He didn't want Sasuke of all people to see them.

"Naruto?" Sasuke says as his voice was a little shakey.

Naruto's eyes were wide open before he looked at his dear friends. Tears started to run down his cheeks. He flinched as the tears hit his cheeks where the cuts were. Naruto had noticed he had recent bruises and cuts on his body. Sasuke was the most shocked. He was more afraid for him, for his life. Sasuke didn't like the fact that Naruto had THAT many cuts and bruises on him, so he just walked out the nurses office. Kiba and Shikamaru followed behind. 

"Naruto... Who did this to you?" Shizune asked

Naruto looked up with tears in his eyes. "N-no one.. They all came from bullies..."Naruto lied. He couldn't even look straight into Shizunes eyes."Naruto.. Don't lie to me... Who did it?" Shizune asked once more.

"I told you it was no one but the bullies. They beat me up and hit me everyday.." He lied again. Some of it was the truth but not the whole truth. The truth was that all his scars came from his dad, his cuts on his arms and wrists came from himself, and the bruises came from his everything else. 

Naruto put on his shirt and walked out. When he closed the door, Sasuke, Shikamaru, and Kiba were still in the waiting area. He looked at all of them and ran off. They all could see that he was upset. I mean of course he was, who wouldn't?... They didn't run after him because Shikamaru and Kiba had the next two classes with him and then there was lunch and gym. They basically just gave him a little space to cool down until they would see him and talk about the issue. 

During the next two classes Naruto didn't speak or even sit next to Shika or Kiba. He didn't even look their way. Naruto was mad at himself for what had happened to him. He never wanted his friends to find out about the shape his body was in. About a hour later the bell rings for lunch. Everyone packs their stuff and leaves the classroom. Kiba and Shika walk out and waited at the door for the blonde to come out as well. Naruto packed his books and started to walk towards the door. When the blonde came to the door, he saw that his two friends were waiting for him like they usually did. They then continued off to the cafeteria.

"Naruto... Are we gonna talk about it?" Kiba says

Naruto stops in his tracks and turns around to find Shikamaru and Kiba having their arms folded with questioning faces. "No... There's nothing to talk about.."

"What do you mean there's nothing to talk about Naruto? You have cuts everywhere on your body and there's nothing to talk about....? We weren't born yesterday Naruto... We can see that you have tried to commit suicide and-" Kiba was cut off by Shikamaru

"You know what.. If you don't want to tell us then we can just wait till you tell Sasuke and he'll either tell us or you'll be forced to tell him and we'll be there when you do. So it really doesn't matter if you tell us now, but just know, me, Kiba, and Sasuke will get the truth out of you. You'll never know what your friends can help you with in your personal life Naruto... because we can do a whole lot more than you think.."

Naruto just smiled and turned back around and continued walking. Shika and Kiba walked up beside him. "You guys ready for lunch... cause I'm starving..!" They all walked to the lunch room only to find Sasuke sitting at the usual table by the window. He had his lunch and was waiting on the three teens. He looked up and his eyes met Naruto's. He had an expression of worry and sadness. He looked away. Once the three boys got their lunch and sat at the table, there was an awkward silence for the first couple of minutes.
