Chapter 10: Game Night

Naruto and Sasuke were headed to the park. While they were walking there was complete silence. Nothing was heard but the cars passing by on the streets and the sound of the wind blowing through the grass.

Naruto didn't like the silence so he started up a conversation.

"Soo... Sasukeeee... What are we meeting Kiba and Shika for?"

"Umm.. I really don't know.. I guess we're gonna play a few video games at Kibas house.. He says he has that new game that just came out based on anime he watches."

"Oh.. I hope its the one I like.."

"Yea. It probably is.."

The silence was once again complete. Naruto could see the park but they weren't in a rush to get there. Being bored was something Naruto didn't like.

"I'll race you."

"Ok... On your mark... Get set..-"

Naruto ran past Sasuke before he even said GO. Naruto looked behind him and seen Sasuke smirking and catching up to him. He started to run faster. Naruto clearly cheated but it was fun.

Naruto reached the park and stopped at the entrance. Sasuke was still running and when he caught up to Naruto he tackled him. Naruto grabbed unto Sasuke and held him until the stopped rolling. They were rolling down a hill. They stopped at a bench and saw Kiba and Shika. Naruto stood up laughing and dusting the dirt off him. The same with Sasuke but he just had a smirk plastered on his face.

"Having fun are we.." Kiba asked

"H-hey Kiba and Shika.. Wassup." Naruto said

"Nothing much.. You wanna come to my house and play my new game with me and Shika."

"What game..?"

"Guess.." Kiba said with a mysterious smile

"Umm... Call of Duty: Black ops 2"

"Nope.."

"Umm... Injustice 2?"

"Nope.."

"I give.. What is it.?"

"Wait for it... Wait for it.."

"Here we go again.." Shikamaru said lazily

"Naruto Shippuden..!"

Naruto was shocked. His best friend got the game he's been waiting for his entire life. Naruto was so shocked that he fell back. (Kinda like he fainted.) Sasuke caught him.

When Naruto opened his eyes, he was laying on the grass with his head on Sasuke's lap. Kiba was starring down at him. Naruto jolted up and hit his and Kiba's head together.

"Ouch..!" Both teens screamed

"What'd you do that for.? You big dummy"

"It was your fault for scarring me when I woke up.. You teme."

"How was it my fault when you were the one to sit up so fast."

"It just was.. Ok"

Naruto had almost forgot what he was so happy for. He jumped up and grabbed Kiba's hand and started to run to Kiba's house. Sasuke and Shikamaru looked at each other and ran after them. When they reached his house, the first thing Naruto did was take off his shoes and get comfortable.

They were in the living room so they had a lot of space. Naruto grabbed a controller and waited for Kiba to put the game into the console. Sasuke and Shika didn't really understand what Naruto was so happy about but they figured it out when they started to play the game.

They all chose the characters that looked like them. Naruto and Sasuke went against each other and Sasuke  was losing. Naruto did his finishing move on him. Rasen Shuriken. Sasuke didn't have time to counterattack and lost.

Kiba and Shikamaru went against each other and Kiba lost. Shikamaru used his shadow stitching jutsu and won. They played many rounds and had fun. When they finished playing it was around 11.

Naruto and Sasuke were supposed to be home by 12 midnight.

"Hey guys.. We should get going.. Its getting late." Sasuke said

"Noo... Sasuke lets stay for a little while longer.."

"Yea Sasuke.. Stay for a while longer." Kiba said

"No.. Cant.. I don't want it to get to dark to where we cant see the roads.. We have to go.. Naruto grab your stuff and lets go."

"Ok... See you tomorrow Kiba.. See ya later Shika."

"See ya later" Kiba and Shika said in unison.

"Alright.. Bye" Sasuke said

Naruto and Sasuke walked out the house and headed home.
