The next day, I walked to school alone.  Cheanna was no where to be seen.. I felt lonely.  But I just had to stay strong. 

After school I stopped by het house to see if she was okay but her mom said she didn't come home from school. When her mom said that, I knew where she was. 

I walked to the park and went to the oldest oak tree.  There she was.  Reading a book.  I asked her why she didn't go to school and she looked up at me and said," Didn't feel like it. "  I decided not to question her.   I asked her if she wanted to have a sleepover so we could talk about what's been happening lately.

Later on that night I heard a knock on my door.  It was Cheanna.  I invited her into my room.

Should I ask her about what happened the other night?

I decided to ask her.

"So Cheanna." I said.

"Yes?" she replied.

"About yesterday-" I get cut off.

"Oh. That. I don't wanna talk about it. ." she said.

"Oh that's fine. " I said.

*Skip to next day*

I couldnt take it anymore so I decided to ask her straight.

" Cheanna why did you cut yourself?"

"I should be asking you that same question. " Cheanna said.

I said in a shaky voice," Well..... I... .  ..... ummmn.....aha?"

Cheanna looked at me and said we both need to change the way we deal with things.  I agreed.  I suggested every time we feel like cutting we take a colorful rubber band and put it on our wrist. She liked the idea.  The next day was Monday. ..
