Look, I said thanks already, but I'm a broken record so this chapter is dedicated to thanking each and every reader that came across this book. As some of you may know, Cobalt took a LONG time to come to a close - some of these readers have been on this thing for OVER two years and I don't know how they stuck it out.
I want to thank the people that voted on every chapter, their favourite chapter, and even just the table of contents (yup, I realised there's also one when you click on the book). I want to thank everyone that commented, from witty one-liners, to questions, to critiques, I read them all - and admit that I didn't reply to nearly enough. A lot of you guys had me choking on my various drinks, one of you even got a tapioca pearl up my nose, and that crap is almost as bad as cola.
I'd like to say this book is done, but I said the same thing over six years ago and proceeded to rewrite almost every part to give you what you just read through. I'll continue to edit it based on the feedback from friends, family, and most importantly you guys. You're a bunch of strangers that made it through over 200k words for the fun of it, and offered feedback that I didn't have to bribe you guys with candy and Starbucks to receive. So honestly, just thank you, that's all I can say.
Maybe it's not a groundbreaking contemporary fantasy concept that's trending everywhere, but that's okay. A million dollar idea doesn't always have to come out of the left field. It's a 10% mix of skill, and the rest is all up to luck. That being said, constructive criticism never hurt anybody, and I'd love to help you guys out with your writing journeys in return, or even have casual conversations about anything in the DMs.
On my final note, I've seen a lot of these Author's Note thank you chapters at the ends of all the books I've finished, and I don't want this one to feel like an afterthought that was slapped on for the sake of following a Wattpad format. So I made a list of what I could see on my end. All the readers that made it to the end, stuck around since square one, poked me EXTRA hard to update, went on voting frenzies, and pretty much everything else that gave me a notification that you were still going strong.
* I'm still wondering if those of you that tackled this whole thing in 24 hours even ate, cause that is one god level attention span. *
Now, without further ado~

And a thank you to my wattpad friends that gave me the same amount of motivation as hearing your cat throwing up on the corner of your bed - but in a good way.
Maybe espresso beans would have worked better on that analogy)
