Although I should've fallen asleep by now, I stayed restless throughout the night, thinking about the foreign smell of rose and peaches covering your skin. I dearly wished it was perhaps a new scent you took a liking in, and I would've believed that hadn't it been on you for weeks on end and there was no perfume that scent in our house.

I let the tears silently fall, willing my shoulders stiff less I wanted to walk you. You with your arms tightly wrapped around me, breathing into my ears false love you's and kisses without any meaning.

But I won't tell you.

Instead, I'll leave at the crack of dawn, when the sun has just began to rise and all you can think of is how beautiful it is as you call for my name, thinking I'm in the kitchen cooking up a breakfast.

But really, I'm miles away, on a train to a new city or perhaps state. Far away from you and those scent of rose and peaches.
