A/N finds out the place their robbing is actually a family cult who have been behind all the missing cases in town. When they escape, they're able to expose the cult and have all the killings stop. They're pardoned from any crime due to finding out such a big thing, and decides to use this excuse to rob even more houses, planting bodies and signs of cult activity in the family houses.
It's when they begin to unconsciously go back to the old houses that they begin to feel scared again. Every night, whether they like it or not, they go back to the last house they've framed for cult activity and murder until finally, they're back at the very first house he tried to rob. The actual house with a cult.
