Somnophilia ; sleeping beauty syndrome :
is a paraphilia in which an individual becomes sexually aroused by someone who is unconscious.
"The bad man came, saw me unconscious and defenseless, and ravished me."
The little girl gasped, petite hands coming to cover a petite face, and with wide eyes, she asked her mother what happened next.
"What did you do mama?"
The older woman smiled, gently brushing her hands through the young girl's golden locks. "Well I did what any person in that situation should, and shall!" She paused, as if heightening the dramatic essence of the reveal.
"When he was done, the spell I was in broke, and I took his hands, so tight that the purple bruises could be seen. Then, in matters of second, I took the sword resting against my bed, and stabbed him through his heart."
"Yay! Mama killed the bad man!" The little girl chanted, her hands turning to fists as she danced a little celebration. Suddenly, a thought crossed her mind, so full of curiosity and mystery that she had to ask.
"Is that why papa is hanging dead by the tree along with the other little girl?"
Her mother glanced out their cottage window, before a faint smile touched her lips. "Oh why yes, and because of bad people like those, we must stand strong and protect those unable to themselves."
Miles away, the chantings of Saint Aurora could be heard from all villages.
