Every 666th baby that's born is sent to hell to work / become a demons, ghosts, monsters, etc while every 777th baby born is sent to heaven to work / become an angels, prophets, etc.
You could more or so imagine their jobs based on where they're going.
Those working in hell give risk and thrill to the lives of human while those working in heaven give safety and protection for them.
But there are more sinister jobs; guiding souls to heaven or dragging them to hell. Saving humans at the last moment or traumatized and torment them to no end.
Of course, their roles can all change, it's up to you, whether you're the person above or below, and the other, whether their the person above or below.
