What age is it
That you realize
It never gets better?
Is it different for everyone?
Or does it happen identically?
Is it when you lose a loved one?
Or is there some sort of registry?
I wish everyone learned at the same time.
That way they wouldn't be so discontented
To learn that life never gets better.
If only there was some sort of chime.
That way the truth would be presented.
To teach that life never gets better.
