1984, Lissa's and Bruce's graduation:

"Where is he, where is he, where is he?" I said while pacing. "Calm down Lis, he'll be here soon." Bruce kept trying to calm me down but it wasn't working. "He didn't show up for Guy's graduation so why would he show up for ours." I worried.

"It was different then, you and him have a different relationship than him and Guy, both of us are closer to him. Also his band is performing not far from here tomorrow so and there are two people here not just one like it was with Guy. Of course he is coming." Bruce told me.

So I'm currently 17 almost 18, there letting me graduate early because of my high grades. Ever since me and Bruce did our music project accouple of years ago we have been really close friends. Guy is also a good friend but he graduated two and a half years ago.

Mark got his dream and has went into the music business and is lead singer/guitarist/pianist for a band called King Kobra. There pretty good, there second album will come out next year. In my opinion they sound like foreigner with John Bonham on drums and Tony Iommi on guitar, its real odd but they are a hair band.

Me and Mark are still best friends, he calls a lot and comes visits a lot. His father is like a father to me. I stay at his house a lot. My mother is still the same ol' same ol'. I have terrible problems internally, if my stomach is hit very hard I start to throw up blood or if I get sick it hurts. The likely hood of me having children is not likely.

There has been moved tissue that the doctors aren't sure how it happened but they suspect it was when all the other stuff happened to my stomach. It makes me terribly sad that I can't have a child. I know I'm only 17 but I've always wanted to have a child. Children make my heart warm.

The only person I've told about that is Mark.

"You need to put on your graduation thing and shoe's." Bruce handed me my stuff. "I don't want to wear high healed shoe's." I complained. "At least your not a male having a dress thing." Bruce called as he exited the bathroom with his what ever you call it on.

"Go change." Bruce pushed me to the door. I got in and changed. I stared at the shoes and after awhile I put them on. They were 4 inch and black leather. Bruce tried to get me into regular heals but I refused. So when I called Mark and complained he suggested I wear leather heals.

"I'm coming out." I called to Bruce. His eyes instantly shot to my feet. "Seriously, you just had to wear studs on them." Bruce laughed and I nodded. "Okay, now come on rocker girl we have to go stand in the line."

I followed Bruce to where we have to wait. "What if he doesn't show up?" I asked, once again. "He gonna show up, so will the rest of the band." Bruce said, really annoyed. "Why is his band coming. I've only met to of them." I mumbled. "Now that I can't answer." Bruce chuckled and I laughed.

"It's kinda creepy, two people coming to see you graduate and you've never actually met them before." I stated. Bruce nodded. The lights came on. Am I really doing this, I'm so scared. What if Mark doesn't show up?

I moved closer to Bruce as they started to call every ones name. We moved closer and closer up the line. Me and Bruce are going on together.

We moved farther and farther up and I got so nervous it wasn't even funny. I gripped onto Bruce's arm. He looked at me and smiled, but it was obvious he was just as nervous as I was.

"Bruce Gowdy and Lissa Lace please come out onto the stage." The principle called. Bruce took my hand and we walked out together. I scanned the crowd, I couldn't see Mark anywhere.

People everywhere were clapping and it got in the my way of trying to find Mark. "I understand you two are close friends." The principle asked. "Yes we are." Bruce said and everyone went quiet. All the teachers looked at me expectantly. I nodded.

"Some of your teachers are gonna thank you." The principle told us. All of the teachers came over and congratulated us. "We have a teacher that would like to say a speech about these two young adults." The last teacher said.

I watched in horror as Mrs. Taylor came up to the stand. She smiled at us and I was shocked. I felt accouple Bruce stifle a laugh. Accouple other people in the crowd started to laugh. Probably people that new how much Mrs. Taylor hates me.

Mrs. Taylor cleared her throat and began her speech. I was in for a shock at the words she said.

"My name is Susan Taylor, I was Miss. Lace's teacher for 9th and 11th grade and the same for Mr. Gowdy. If anyone of you were in my classes I had with them, you would think I hate Miss. Lace. Her and her friend that graduated accouple years ago, Mark Free, annoyed me to death. But like I should of said at Free's graduation you are a great student. Miss. Lace was a wonderful, smart student that did everything right. I acted like I hated her and I'm sorry. Miss. Lace you were a splendid student and the same goes for you Mr. Gowdy. I suspect both of you will have an amazing job, wonderful future and a great life. I would like to thank you for your work. So thank you. That's it."

She hugged Bruce and hugged me. "I'm sorry for being a terrible teacher to you, if you see Mark again tell him I'm sorry." She frowned. I smiled at the elderly woman and told her I will.

"Now its time for them to give they're graduation speeches. We'll start with Mr. Gowdy." The principle said and pulled Bruce up to the stand. He didn't let my had go.

"So well um... I kinda forgot to write a speech, but that's okay. I'll just go with the flow. So my name is Bruce Gowdy, I'm 18 years old and I'm am thankful to this school. I learned so much and have fantastic friends. One of my best friends is this girl right next to me, Lissa Lace, and the other one is probably out there in the crowd, Mark Free. So I don't plan to go college, Please don't jump down my throat teachers, but I have learned all I need from this school. I would like to be a guitarist, its my specialty. But back to the school part of this speech. I love this school and I am happy to of gone here. My life has depended on this school. I don't know if any of that made since but I would like to thank my beautiful friend right here for being here and coming out here with me, let me introduce to you Lissa Lace."

Bruce pulled me up to the stand and hopped down beside it. I looked at everyone in the crowd hoping to see Mark, but I didn't. All I saw was his father waving at me and smiling. I took a deep breath and began my speech.

"My name is Lissa Lace. I'm 17 years old and am proud to say that I went to school here, but I'm not up here to be talking about this school, I'm up here to talk about me and give thanks. Just like Bruce I haven't prepared a speech, I'm gonna let the words flow out. Yeah so what Mrs. Taylor said was true. We hated each other but I'm glad to say I was her student, she told me to tell someone what she told me about being sorry. If my best friend Mark Free is out there I would like to tell him that Mrs. Taylor said she was deeply sorry. I don't really have a job that I really want. I'm currently working in a record store. I kinda want to create like a record label or something, who knows I just want to live my life to the best I can. So far I've had a great life and I would like to thank that to Bruce over here and Mark. That's all I got so just clap and smile like your suppose to do at these things. This is strange to say but I'm a little sad that I'm on my own now. Either way I wish everybody to have a nice day and be happy. Good bye my people."

People were laughing and clapping for me. I tried my best to make it entertaining. Bruce  took my hand and we walked off the stage.

As we were climbing down the stairs I saw someone who I recognized as the drummer of Marks band, Carmine Appice.

A/N

Hello me people. I tried my best at writing this. I have a whole new respect for writing, it's hard. I had the whole chapter planned out but for some reason transporting the story from my brain to my laptop was not easy at all and I don't know why. But you will probably get another update either later today or tomorrow and keep a look out for my Bret Micheals story I'll post the first chapter for it when I reach chapter ten on this one. This was a filler chapter there will be action in the next one. Vote, Comment, Follow!!!
