Sooo I decided to update early because...you guys got me to 1K reads! Thank you so much, I really appreciate it as only a few chapters ago we were at around 500. Again, thanks for reading, voting, commenting and following! Keep it up :)

It had to be at least three hours later that someone knocked on my door.

"Who is it?" I called.

"It's me. Charlie's downstairs, do you want me to bring him up?" my mum asked.

"Um, yes please." I replied, and heard her footsteps fade. I glanced over at the mirror. My hair was tangled, and my face was patchy. My eyes were red and I had a pounding headache from crying. I quickly tied my hair up into a pony tail and added some extra cover up makeup. Another knock sounded on my door.

"Can I come in?" Charlie called.

"Yeah." I replied, my voice cracking.

The door slowly opened, and Charlie walked in. He came over and sat on my bed beside me. He had a bag in one hand, and gave it to me.

"Here. I didn't forget my promise." he smiled, and I opened the bag. In it, was KFC.

"Thank you." I said, hugging him. I was starving.

"I'm sorry about what happened earlier. Leo's really upset, you know." Charlie told me, as I munched on a chip.

"He wanted to know if you'd forgive him." he said, and I nearly choked on the chip.

"No." I replied coldly, and Charlie tilted his head.

"Why not?" he asked.

"Why should I? He wasn't there when I needed him most. He betrayed me." I said, taking my first bite out of the chicken. It was delicious.

Charlie sighed.

"I don't know. I hate seeing both of you upset." he admitted, and I lay back, motioning for my to lay beside me. I then leaned my head on his chest, my arms around his shoulders. I felt safe this way.

"Victoria hates me...doesn't she?" I asked, and he frowned.

"No."

"She must do. I made her son cry, Charlie. I upset him." I reminded him, and he curled an arm around me.

"She doesn't. She loves you. You're like family. You helped Leo in the first place." he argued, and I sighed.

"So...what happened when we were gone? And don't tell me it's nothing because you were screaming at Leo about it." I tensed at the memory.

I got up and grabbed a packet of wipes from my desk.

"This." I said, turning to face him. I slowly wiped off the makeup, uncovering everything. I showed him my arms and legs which were also bruised and scraped.

"Who...did this?" he asked softly, tracing a finger around the bruise on my eye. I winced, it hurt with even the slightest pressure.

"These girls...well, mostly. To be honest, it was everyone." I confessed, and he inspected my arms and legs.

"Why didn't you tell me?" he asked.

"I didn't want to ruin your trip. I wanted you to enjoy it." I whispered, and he shook his head.
