The Concert

"Are you ready to go?" I asked, fixing my hair one last time. Not that it really mattered, we were going to a concert after all, but I still wanted to look nice. We were both just wearing jeans and a shirt, though Leo had added a wristband that came free with the tickets.

"Yep!" he replied, beaming.

He looked so happy, and it felt good to know he was enjoying it so far, before it had even begun.

We were taking the train there and back, and it took awhile so we had to leave early. No one was available to take us, so a lift was not an option.

"Try not to forget about me while we're there." I joked, and he rolled his eyes with a smile on his face.

The train ride was pretty boring, but we managed to get into an interesting conversation which took my mind off the time. Several people, we noticed, were also going to the concert so we just pretty much followed them with no sense of direction ourselves. Luckily it led us to the arena and we showed our tickets, entering. We found our seats.

Leo was practically bouncing everywhere, eyes scanning the arena. It was about half an hour until everyone had arrived and the chattering quietened as Ariana came onstage, causing loud screams and cheers. She talked for a bit before performing her first song, followed by another and another and so on.

Halfway through I went to the bathrooms, which was a struggle to get past everyone. It was refreshingly cool compared to where we were stood in the crowd.

'at an Ariana concert - Leo is going crazy haha'

I tweeted out quickly, before returning to our spot. Leo was dancing along and randomly singing certain parts, and I joined in. Near the end, Leo bought a T-shirt and a glow stick. I just rolled my eyes, but eventually went for a glow stick too.

"Did you enjoy it?" I asked, as we all left the arena.

"Yeah, thank you." Leondre replied quite breathlessly. We went to a nearby McDonalds for something to eat. It was incredibly busy, so we got a meal to shate and took it to the park across the road. Sitting down on the bench next to Leo, I opened up the chicken nugget box of six. We both ate in comfortable silence, enjoying the cool air.

"What's up?" he asked, noticing I paused eating.

"Just got a headache." I replied, shutting my eyes for a minute. I was usually used to it, but there were some really bright lights...and lots of people. He brushed a hand over my forehead, and turned my head towards him. He kissed me on the nose and smiled, before nibbling on a chip. I giggled quietly, eating the last nugget and dumping the rubbish into the bin. Leo shared the rest of the chips before also throwing the rubbish away and pulling me closer.

"Leo...we gotta get the train.' I reminded him as he lightly traced circles on my back.

"Not for a bit." he whispered, and I closed my eyes to enjoy the October weather. I couldn't wait for Halloween. I don't care how old I am, I'm still going trick or treating. My outfit was still undecided, however.

"Let's get going." Leo said, sitting up. We went to the train station, and caught the next train that went along the right route. The trains were running all night. I always hated public transport late at night because there was bound to be drunk people arguing about football or who had the most beers.

Leo was gripping my hand at all times, so it didn't bother me as much as it usually does.

"Am I coming to yours?" I asked, and he nodded.

Once we arrived back at his house, I made myself a glass of water. Leo slept in his bed, and I slept on the floor with a pile of cushions. He wanted me to share or at least take the bed myself, but it was too hot so I insisted I was comfy enough lying on the floor with three pillows, five cushions and two blankets. My pyjamas were a pair of old leggings I'd left here awhile ago, and one of Leo's tops. I fell asleep pretty quickly, and my headache faded away.

"What's your outfit for Halloween?" I asked Leo, bringing a spoonful of cheerios to my mouth.

"I'm not sure yet...but I'm thinking vampire." Leo replied, followed by his idea of a 'scary vampire' face.

"I still haven't decided."

"Be a vampire with me?" he suggested, and I grinned.

"I'll see."

"Did you have a nice time at the concert?" Charlie asked Leo, smirking.

"Yeah!" he replied, and I rolled my eyes.

"He was bouncing off the walls." I replied, sitting down on a leather sofa.

"Right, boys I need you to focus." Blair said suddenly, and they nodded meekly. Dan sat down next to me, as the boys pulled on a pair of headphones each and stepped up to the mics. They were recording a new song, and I had the opportunity to listen to it early as long as I didn't tell anyone. The track started and Charlie started off with an opening line before Leo started his usual rap. I listened intently, watching their faces as they went through the lyrics.

After an hour, they took a break.

"What do you think?" Leo asked as Charlie went to get a drink.

"I like it." I smiled, standing up and kissing him.

"How are you taller than me?" I asked, suddenly realising Leo was a few inches taller than me.

He chuckled.

"I'm older too." he reminded me, and I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever." I mumbled, and he chuckled again.

My birthday was on the 10th of May, so I still had a way to go to catch up with him.

"Alright boys let's get back to recording." Blair clapped his hands, and the boys returned to the booth.

alright, thank you all for 2.2k, like I keep saying it means a lot, every comment and vote is a motivation and they make me smile. I'm thinking of introducing a new girl to be Charlie's...but I'll need some ideas so next chapter you'll have a chance to apply to be in the story if you want to...¯\_(ツ)_/¯
