It had been only a small while since Ashely and Sal had started dating. Larry wondered if he was ever good enough for Sal, and if he'd ever be good enough. Suddenly, a knock came from the other side of his door.
"Hm... come in?" He shouted back, confused. Ashley walked in, smiling.
"Marry Christmas Eve, Lar. I uh... I need to talk to you." Ashely smiled. Larry patted the open seat next to him on the bed.
"So uh... you know how Sal and I are together now? Well-" Ashely started, but was cut off.
"You don't have to apologize, Ash. It's ok." Larry smiled half-heartedly.
"No! That's not what I was going to say. Sure, I do have small feelings for Sal and they're very real, but there's someone else; anyways, I'm doing this for you, Larry. Sal really likes you. He talks about you a lot, how fond he is of you. I want you to to be happy- together!" Ashley smiled, giggling. Larry blushed lightly.
"Wait, Sal has... feelings... for me?" Larry asked, almost at a loss for words.
"Yup. Real ones. He really does like you, Larry. So, I wanna get you two together!" Ashley squeaked.
"You sure? I don't wanna get in the way... you said you have actual feelings for him?" Larry sighed.
"Yeah, small ones though. Nothing serious. Plus, there's someone else." Ashley repeated. Larry nodded.
"Alright... alright. Thanks, ash."
...
"Larry! Wait up!" The boy herd a voice behind him. He flung around, looking at the short boy that stood in front of him.
"Sup, little dude?" He smiled.
"Do you... care if I stay the -pant- night?" Sal asked, out of breath.
"Yeah, no prob. Mom'll be home so no video games after 3 in the morning I guess." He smirked, ruffling Sal's hair. Sal flinched, looking up at Larry whole rubbing his left arm. "You alright?" Larry questioned suspiciously.
"Y-Yeah... it's nothing. I'm ok." Sal smiled, knowing Larry couldn't see it. Sal shook his head, then straightened up.
"Hey, u haven't given you your Christmas gift yet, have I? C'mon!" Sal shouted, grabbing Larry's hand and running back to the apartments. Once inside, both boys were laughing as they approached the elevator
"Dude, I can't believe winter brake stated the DAY of Christmas Eve!" Sal giggled.
"Yeah. Merry Christmas by the way. I hope you'll like what I got you." Sal smiled at Larry, then booped his nose. Larry blushed lightly but just smiled, shaking his head.
Both boys entered Sal's apartment, the blue haired boy leading his friend to his room. Sal hurriedly picked up an envelope, handing it to Larry.
"H-Here..." Sal mumbled as Larry took the envelope, ripping into it excitedly. Larry stopped dead in his tracks, looking at the two tickets in his hand.
"No way... SAL NO FUCKING WAY!!!" Larry shouted. The boy started to tear up, pulling Sal into a rib-breaking hug. "YOU'RE THE FUCKING BEST!!!" Larry yelled.
"Can't... breath..." Sal smiled, half joking half being deadly serious. Larry let go of his friend and attempted to wipe the flow of tears from his face, but more kept coming. Sal pulled his sleeve over his hand and wiped his friends tears away, the flow finally coming to an end.
"Dude, you're seriously the. Best. Friend. Ever!" Larry smiled, picking Sal up by his waist and making a full 360. Sal blush, yelping as he did this. The taller of the two set Sal down, but still had his arms wrapped around him for some time. The two boys looked at each other, Larry stared into Sal's doll-like icy blue eyes and Sal stared into Larry's dark, mysterious brown eyes.
Sal smiled, then unclipped his mask. All he did was stare at Larry for some time, admiring his face. When you really looked at the boy, everything about him was perfect. The dark eyes that you could drown in and never get over, the darkness under his eyes that made him even more unique, even the small birth mark that sat under one of his beautiful eyes. All of these were things Sal noticed about Larry, things no one else did.
Suddenly, Sal pushed away from Larry, blushing deeply.
"You ok dude? Your face is super red." Larry smiled.
"Hm? Yeah! I'm good, totally ok!" Sal shouted, his voice cracking terribly which caused Larry to laugh, the sound of his raspy voice embedded into Sal's mind long after it died out.
...
"Wow! Thanks Lar!" Sal shouted as he gazed at the numerous Sanity's Fall items in front of him.
The first thing, was two pins that both had "SF" on them, in white print with a black background. The next item was a pair of black sweatpants that had "Sanity's Fall" written in and edgy red font on the right leg. Lastly there were the three shirts. One of the shirts, a long sleeved t-shirt, was navy blue with "pain of existence" sketched into the front of it- then there was the very baggy black hoodie/sweatshirt (what's the difference?) that had the bands logo on the front with all of the names of their songs on the back of it. Lastly, there was the shirt with sleeves that only went to elbow length and stopped. This shirt was also navy blue, but had the words "something is missing" with the bands logo on it in white.
"Yeah. They were all on sale, and made me think of you so, here we are." Larry smiled.
"Do you think that all I wear is black?" Sal smiled.
"Nah. Go try them on!" Larry smiled once again, pushing Sal towards his open bedroom door. Sal nodded and rushed out the bathroom door.
A few moments later Sal came out in the long sleeved T-shirt.
"It's kinda baggy, heh. But that's ok! I love it!" Sal smiled, going back into the bathroom. He came out again with the black hoodie on.
"It's so warm and comfy... I love it!" Sal smiled, rushing quickly back to the bathroom to try on the final shirt. He came out, hiding his arms behind his back and smiling.
"It's great, Lar. Thank you..." Sal grinned, then went back to the bathroom, slipping on the hoodie and sweatpants for bed.
