Specials! Chapter 4

A/N: I had to find motivation (and time to write stuff, and it's hard to do so). I've put this off for a while. I think now's the right time to continue this. I'm sorry if I didn't update this book as much as I did before, but I promise to find more time during quarantine.

The moment you stepped down the bus was the exact moment another bus arrived.

You, as well as some of the 3rd years, came towards the little bus of Sohoku.

First up to hop off the bus was the famous first years of Sohoku, which were said to be the secret weapon of your rivals, followed by the rest of the team.

"M-manami-kun!" A first year stated. He had round-glasses and an awkward smile.

"Sakamichi-kun!" Manami's voice came from behind you. He was scratching the back of his head, yawning.

"Maki-chan!" Toudou's high pitched voice rang, which annoyed Arakita, making him trip on his knees.

"Ow, Yasutomo, you cruel brat!" Many were laughing; the majority were either 2nd or 3rd years, including yourself.

"That's what'cha get for being too loud in the morning Toudou, sho." Makishima held his hand in front of his friend.

He took it, but instead of standing up, he pulled him down before laughing and standing up by himself.

"What was that for, sho?"

"Just a simple way of saying good morning, Maki-chan!" Toudou smiled brightly, and Makishima just shook his head, before standing up.

"Ah, Shinkai." Tadokoro said, holding out his fist in front of the red head.

"Yo!" They fist-bumped, both laughing.

"Still practicing?"

"Uh-huh!" Both of them let out another hearty chuckle.

Fukutomi looks at Kinjou, who just removed his glasses. The first years from both schools gathered around the back of Sohoku's bus, along with you and your friend.

"Hotshot should really sleep more. Look at his the dark circles around his eyes!" Naruko pointed at Imaizumi's face. Indeed, if it weren't for the latter's slim figure, he could be mistaken as a panda.

"That's because you kept bugging me earlier. Even Onoda couldn't sleep. Isn't that right, Onoda?"

All of you look at Onoda, who, despite Imaizumi's allegations, looked like a person who slept well. He was smiling as he hummed a tune. Noticing that all your eyes were looking at him, his face became red with embarrassment. 

"U-Um, what is it again? S-Sorry, I-I think I'm going to throw up-" Onoda couldn't finish his sentence as he puked on the ground. 

"The mountain king has motion sickness? Wonders on how he can ride a bike!" Yuto stifled a laugh.

"And I thought he was doing fine." Manami said as he patted Onoda on his back. 

"He looked fine to me too!" You said, as you lend your assistance to Manami and Naruko, who were attending to Onoda at the moment.

Imaizumi walked back inside the Sohoku bus, with (friend's/n) on his tail. 

"You think Onoda could practice right away, Naruko-kun?" 

Naruko shook his head. "I don't think he should overdo himself."

"B-But I-" 

"It's fine, I'm sure Kinjou-san will understand, Onoda-kun. By the way, what are taking those two so long? A minute more inside the bus, and I'm going to barge in!" 

"You don't need to, the devils showed themselves, (y/n)-san." Yuto pointed to his left.

Imaizumi and (friend/n) were certainly there, but something was off with them. Both of them were red, and somewhat flustered. They came closer to the group.

"What took you so long to get something from the bus, hotshot?"

"Just don't mind it. Here's Onoda's water bottle. I ended up bringing some of his capsules with me, in case of an emergency." Imaizumi showed us a bag. 

"D-Don't tell me..." Yuto was looking at the bag rather intensely, as if anticipating something. Onoda opened the bag, and somehow, he became revitalized.

"Haha, I knew it! It's not medicine, but his anime capsules, huh."

Naruko laughed. "Just as expected of Onoda-kun. He's ever the same."
