"Oi, Ha. Ya. To." You nudged him lightly at his side, earning a soft groan from him.

"Stop..." His eyes remained closed, which kinda annoyed you. This was the fourth time you tried waking him up.

Despite the sun hasn't risen up yet, you were already full of energy.

"Let me do it, (n/n)-san!" Toudou said, his voice coming from behind.

"U-ugh... you don't have to, Toudou-kun.."

"No, no! I shall!" He walked towards your row. Grinning, he winked at somebody from the back, getting no response back.

"Hayato, would you wake up?" He shook his head in response.

Toudou's face suddenly brightened up as he gets a marker from his shoes.

"If you say so, Hayato." He started doodling on the latter's face. "There, done."

Ugh, what?

You looked at his face- it was filled with your name with hearts.

"Toudou! What the heck!?"

"Oi, refrain that damn brat from shouting!" Arakita also stood up, his usual, grumpy side emerging.

The others were still asleep, in fact, only you and Toudou were awake, before Arakita himself joined the fray.

"Try looking at Hayato before you say I'm noisy!" He oblidged, and by doing so, he stiffled some laughs.

"T-this... this made you noisy?"

"Why wouldn't this be?"

" 'Cause he likes you. Idiot."

"I'm still here, you know." Toudou stood between you two.

"And so? I'm going back to my sleep. If I hear one more noise... you're both dead meat." The black head eyed us, as if you've done something worse than waking him up.

You just shrugged as response, and Toudou sat down at his seat.

"Well, whatever." Thinking of Sohoku, you dialed your best friend, who is currently at Sohoku.

Although early, (best friend's/n) heard her phone ringing. She let a few rings pass, before picking it up.

"(BESTFRIEND'S/N)! GOOD MORNING!!!" The loud voice of her best friend rang through her ears, waking her spirit up deliberately.

"Too much energy, my friend." She chuckled a bit before smiling.

"You excited? To race!?"

" 'Course I am! Who do you think am I?"

"Says the one who puked before- who was the reason for discontinuing our race." You started to grin- before laughing loudly.

"I-I..." (Bestfriend's/n) stuttered, before sighing in defeat. "Oh well- let's just see who will win later, (n/n)-Chan!" You heard her chuckle before cutting the call.
