In Draco's embrace, Hermione never felt safer. Nothing could ruin this moment. Or so she thought. A dark cloud covered a part of the sky and green fog surrounded it. A Dark Mark appeared in the center. "Draco," Hermione said. "Look." Draco thought the nightmare had ended, but it was far from over. He thought he escaped the life of being a Death-eater, but he had no idea.
Draco held Hermione's hand. "You have to stay here. I have to go deal with this."
"No," she protested. "We are going to do this together."
"No!" Draco fought. "I can't put you in danger. For all I know, it could be a trap."
Hermione didn't care. "It won't matter. What does matter is that we will be together." Draco smiled. "Together?"
"Together." They apparated under to the cloud. In front of them was an old, two-story building, wrecked, and almost completely destroyed. They stared at each other and walked in hand in hand. As they stepped into the building, an overwhelming sense of sadness took over them. Then, the door slammed behind them. They heard a clatter and thumping from above them. They walked up there, no longer holding hands, but raising their wands, ready for combat. Draco led in front and lead them to a moldy door. The thumping continued from the other side. Draco held a finger against his still swollen lips and kicked the door. An empty room stood in front of them, a pole in the middle. And tied to the pole was Harry. "Harry, my goodness!" Hermione said, shocked. She ran to him and untied the ropes. She ripped the tape off his mouth. "What happened?"
Before Harry could say anything, Pansy stepped out of the shadows and grabbed Hermione, her wand held against Hermione's neck. Draco and Harry quickly drew out their wands, but Pansy presses the wand harder against her neck. "Take another step, and she dies," Pansy threatened. Draco was torn.
"Pansy, why are you doing this?" he asked.
"Because you don't see the truth!" She replied. "The truth that Hermione is a lying, filthy mudblood who doesn't deserve you at all!"
Draco winced and took a step forward. "I will never love you, Pansy."
Pansy disagreed. "No. You will love me. You will choose me. It is either me or her!" Before Pansy could tell out a spell, Hermione elbowed her in the stomach and took the wand out of Pansy's grasp. Pansy fell to the ground, clutching her stomach. Hermione ran to Draco, hugging while Harry took Pansy and made sure she didn't have any other weapons.
"What are we going to do with her?" Hermione asked.
"I'll send her to Professor Mcgonagall. She'll know what to do," Harry said.
Hermione nodded. "We're not done yet, mudblood," Pansy said.
"Call her a mudblood again, and I'll make sure you end up in Azkaban," Draco said. Pansy scowled. "Hermione, let's go back." Hermione nodded. They held hands and apparated back to Malfoy Manor, where Draco's mother waited
"Draco!" She said. "It's your father."
"What, mum?"
"He's escaped."
